I had watched part of this movie before but I don’t remember the ending. It was a realistic ending so I’m giving it a thumbs up. 👏👏👏👏👏🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

CLAUDE ATKINS WAS SLIMY AND SNEAKY IN THIS EPISODE AND HE PLAYED IN MANY EPISODES THAT HE ACTUALLY HAD A HEART OF GOLD.

I love the way Adam says Nevada. On another note, Im not standing up for Ezekiel or anything but he was right about Ben having feelings for Joyce. Just saying.

Ezekiel had a sinister laugh. But he got what he deserved. Claude Atkins was a good actor.

In this episode, Ben moves in on another man's wife. That led to all the problems.

this episode was a cross between Othello and Lady Charterley's Lover ...Bonanza borrowed alot....

I absolutely agree it was your remark of Shakespeare and Lawrence in the first place which made the thought of Tolstoj occur to me :-)

Claude Akins, hometown boy! Our biggest claim to fame.

Those millstones were very heavy; you could tell by the effort it took them to unload. Yet here is Hoss running only the two horses. As if they weren’t already worn out and Hoss wants to run them. And then Joe cheers him on . I have said it before; David D. and the writers had little regard for animals. They made the Cartwrights look callous and those playing the Cartwrights went along with it. Still, Bonanza is a great show and I love the Cartwrights and the players always

Jeez, did living in the Wild West drive everybody insane or something? It seems like every episode, the Cartwrights are dealing with escapees from the loony factory. Good episode though.

Damn, Adam looks good all sweaty and stuff, muscles popping. Mmmmmmm.

The Cartwrights were always sticking their noses in other people’s business, but then if they didn’t there wouldn’t have been a show ;).

the best part starts at 30:00, the 3 brothers wiff hoss hogging the scene. all thought this episode is formulaic and we all knew how it wud play out it wuz fun watching. i thought i seen all bonanza but i didnt remember this won.

I guess all of you foul mouthed pumpkin heads are too stupid to see how he abused her. Any woman would have turned to another man with his drunken abuse. The had no other damn choices then. But you keep on with your filthy mouths if it makes you feel better. She left at the end bc what else would she do? She knew staying with Ben wouldn't be right, not before or after the mans death.

His role in the episode DESERT JUSTICE is better, in my opinion!

Someone talks about death to me while holding a knife I be outa there. My mama didn’t raise no stupid children. PS the Cartwrights sure ate well. I guess when you have a cattle ranch you eat a lot of steak ;).

One thing in this episode is true: Ben loved Tom's wife and tried to win her although he knew that she was married. That's strange! And wasn't it against the high principles of the very honorable Ben Cartwright? I think he changed his attitude towards honor and principles when he was involved. But naturally that was written in the script.

I'm not for the women's movement. When I argue with a woman I prefer they cry and run away, like in the olden days. Now they argue with me and point out how dumb my point is. Ezekiel is the hero in this story.

I think that back then a small amount of men would get jealous if they caught you talking to their wife. Now men are mad and jealous if they catch you talking to their dog.

this gets even sicker at the end where the idiot woman " loves him but has to get away " WTF ???!!! HARRUPAHAGWAHA VOMIT !!!!!

when I was a kid I thought this was a great show , couldn't wait till sunday nite but now... this is so phony and sick , why am I watching it ? even that mill is so stupid , the creek id 40 feet below and the water magically goes right up there just by the turn of some stupid little valve , sure , then it dumps off the wheel onto flat ground in front of the house , right .
