A great tribute to the Cartwright boys. Adam’s my favorite so handsome and sexy…

I miss this program.... what a beautiful tribute...

The casting of the Cartwright family was a miracle of perfection. Watching them interact together with the love and respect they showed it was hard to believe they weren't really a family at all, just actors. I believe that's the reason why the show is so popular still today, and there are endless tribute videos - just like this one- all over the internet ! Not to mention the abundant supply of Bonanza fan sites, Bonanza fan fiction, online, written over the years by their adoring fans as they take their readers on adventure's and storylines to what might have been.:)

What a lovely tribute to the 4 Ponderosa Men. The music is beautiful. As a younger person I didn't appreciate the storylines, awesome lessons and subtle messages but recently I've watched probably 50 episodes and laughed and cried with each of them. I now see their personalities, and contributions to the show. Sadly they are all gone now. RIP ❤❤❤❤

I read on Wiki last night, that PR said he missed working with the cast he left..and would go to the Bonanza website to check old memories..its good to know that he never actually hated the show, but remained fond of it..and the idea of calling himself Pernell "the last one" Roberts..what a weird feeling that was for him..the first to leave, the last orginal cast member to pass away..

You can tell how close they all were. The careing, the love. It spells family. Thank you for this wonderful post

Thank you David Dortort for bring Bonanza into our lives. He made 4 unknown actors household names. No matter what they all did before or after the series, for many that will always be how they will be remembered and rightfully so.

I'm only watching Bonanza now in 2021. I must've heard of it somehow as a little kid coz I remember Lorne Greene but the series ended just before I was born. I'm absolutely in love with them all. Love the show, the interaction between the men, the supurb horsemanship and the no PC BS. RIP y'all ❤🦋❤🦋❤

I remember coming home on Sunday nights after church and watching Bonanza before I went to bed. I miss these shows and the actors that played in them. Thanks for this, it put a smile on my face.

Thank you for this nostalgic journey. I watched this as a young girl and loved it even watching it 40yrs later still warms my heart.

Congratulations! I grew up watching this show tooand I'm glad I'm watching it all over again, makes me realize what television is not about anymore.. and I know it's a cliche but old school is the best school! Glad that you discovered this series!

They didn't. Ben Cartwright was widowed three times, and each of his sons had a different mother. Their stories are told in the episodes " Elizabeth, My Love" (Adam's Mother), " Marie My Love "( Joe's Mother ) and "Inger, My Love" ( Hoss's Mother) and Inger's story is continued in the episode " A Journey Remembered". All excellent, touching and must watch episodes, for sure, to see 'how it all started'. :)

It feels kind of funny. I remember I was just 6 years old when the program came up. The whole country simply loved little Joe but in reality they were all special, Ben, our DDG Man in black and Ross. All gorgeous men in their own ways. We will never have a family like that again. The longing for a time where positive virtues, honesty, integrity and fairness was part of our dictionary.

This is a great job; tears are in my eyes. I love this show. I love the Cartwrights. I will be sending this out to many of my friends to watch. How did you get the Cartwright tune? Is there a soundtrack? I've seen all of the Adam episodes; some of these scenes were not familiar; not sure what 1:06 was. I guess I'll have to re-watch to find out. This was a GREAT job!
