The beautiful Viveca Lindfors. This gorgeous gal was a knockout in the 40 and 50's . Always loved her acting and as a young actress during Hollywood's golden age she always had this ethereal quality about her . Bonanza frequently had special guest stars on in many episodes who were some of the great names of yesteryear . Thank you for this episode I loved it .

Perfect sound here in my primitive village in Southern Mexico.

Always this importance and emphasis on the "beauty" of a woman. Like if she is not so beautiful or older, she is not worth anything. Puts a lot of pressure on women in real life and especially in the movie business.

Bonanza is not the only program that does that, the reality in life on a whole is that way even those who are not so beautiful themselves want beauty, I guess we all need to understand that beauty is only skin deep. No matter how beautiful a person looks if their attitude stinks then they are not that beautiful. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Yes they also make mention of beautiful women in the show but I want to believe that it's in appreciation of the female anatomy rather than face. 🤷‍♀️ I hope 🙏🏿

It’s good to have a difference from the gunfights and bar room scenes ! Opera is great not everyone can sing opera ! Only problem is Angela talks a little bit too much of her achievements and the places she visited. Angela herself says to Ben, that she hasn’t stopped talking since she arrived. The end was disappointing

I can barely recall it, but it reminds me of Captain Kangaroo. This was season 6 ;around 1964 when I was 5 years old. I guess it corresponds with those times, though quite contrary to Eric Bourdon's "House of the Rising Sun". lol

200 miles distance and the average horse can travel 50 miles per day, some stages did 100 miles in a day. Virginia city to Frisco may have been an established route where the horses would be traded for fresh ones at the at the stage post. At a slow pace likely a week each way and at a fast pace likely a few days each way.
