I laughed soo hard on that one.

That cow mooing was put in that scene so perfectly! Just added to the comedy of the moment!

One of the greatest TV shows ever created.

They could be like rotten little boys. Loved it!

The interactions between Hoss & Little Joe are so hilarious, and yes, Little Joe's laugh and reactions just cause you to bust up yourself! It's absolutely amazing anyone can possibly give it a thumbs down - they must have HUGE hemorrhoids & never laugh!

People that don't understand english, or angry birds... maybe?

Those two made the show. They were hilarious, together. One of the funniest episode was when Hoss had to starve himself, in order to try to win a flapjack eating contest. Little Joe was he coach and he watched him like a hawk, he even put bells at the end of the stairs and slept at the bottom, in case Hoss tried to come downstairs for some food. It's one of my favorite episodes.

I love me some Bonanza. I've been watching it for about 6 months. I didn't watch it when it FIRST came on because I was younger & didn't like it, but NOW I LOVE it!! RIP Bonanza!!!

@Catherine - Yep, the antics between Hoss & Little Joe are hard to beat! If you want to see one of the funniest episodes ever, do a search for "Caution: Easter Bunny Crossing", S11 Ep25. About as hilarious a one as you can find! There used to be more than one posting of it, but the only one I see now isn't the best quality, pretty low resolution.

I loved the scenes with Hoss and little Joe. The actors played off of each other, so well. The episode where Hoss entered a pancake eating contest, is one of my favorites. Joe didn't let Hoss eat anything until the contest. He attached bells to the end of the stairs and slept there, in case Hoss came down looking for food. Of course Hoss did attempt to come downstairs and got caught up in the bells and fell down the stairs. I love that episode.

OMG those sparkling beautiful green eyes widely open while listening Hoss!! My Little Joe the only one forever!!!

I always loved the one about the leprechauns

It never occurred to me while I was younger how silly it is that Ben has to keep his obviously 30-something year old sons on task.

Good LORD, HOSS, You know NOTHING about flying a KITE!! First. of all, you need space, (NOT IN FRONT OF A HOUSE), secondly, it has to be the right season (in which to FLY a kite), and so many OTHER things you need to know about flying a kite, but it was HELL OF FUNNY!! RIP D. Blocker, RIP L. Greene, RIP Michael Landon, & RIP P. Roberts. I LOVED (and STILL watch those re-runs)

I like them all but Adam was my favorite Pernell was definitely the professional. I could understand at times what Pernell was speaking of. At times little Joe and Hoss was to silly, other times it was just right. Pernell was a more serious actor and so tall dark and handsome. He did have a funny side in, " A knight to remember ". I stop watching when he left being l always watched because of Adam.

Yup, same here. I like and respect all 4 because they have very special chemistry with each other at least in Bonanza, but Adam/Pernell is my love, so without him, the show doesn’t fulfill, and I feel like missing something,

Well the show went on to be high in the ratings, I think no 1 for the next 3 yrs, so I guess it wasn’t many that thought he made the show!

Helps to have mountain moving equipment whatever that is.

It takes an awful lot of equipment to move a mountain of dirt. If mountain is solid rock even harder.
