this is real music, people like Justin beiber sing to hear themselves, bands like bon jovi sing to teach a lesson, modern crap is shallow. music like this is deep, it has that hidden message, love you bon jovi!

" we weren't born to follow " that makes me think of how society follows what everybody else does, like some people are afraid to be themselves and that's true, people just don't admit it. Not all people are this way but I know a lot who are and it's just sad. People need to be themselves and express them self, it'll help them get far in life I believe. 💕

I hadn’t heard this song until recently. This song really meets the moment now (June 12, 2020) with a pandemic, civil rights protests, and a deep recession (so far). This song reminds me that change is hard and takes time but we shouldn’t despair. Make the world a better place. Find a cause you believe in and put in the work to make it happen.

I also love that they showed the accident of the Hudson river and putting Chelsey Sullenberg and many others on the same pedestal as some huge names or events thus showing that anyone can make a difference or an impact and that the simplest person could be the main element that changes your life or anyones life. Anyone can make a difference and anyone can grow to be as big as they want and to do things as big as they want :)

WHEN JON RELEASED BLAZE OF GLORY HIS FIRST NO BON JOVI DISC, EITHER JON OR BON JOVI IS THE SAME! RICHIE FELT A BUCKET OF COLD WATER THROWN HIM .... JON'S FIRST EX MANAGER GATHERED THE GROUP FOR A CONCERT TOKYO 1991 NEW YEARS DAY ..... RICHIE TOLD BONGIOVI THIS BECAUSE JON TAKEN THE CONTROL NEVER RETURNED THE SAME BECAUSE JON IS THE MAN OF EVOLUTION .... BECAUSE JON YOU THE PRODUCERS PREFER YOU TO NOT ME ..... I HAVE 50 PERCENT AUTHORITY OF THE SONGS INCREASE ME DOUBLE MY SALARY BECAUSE I'M THE ONE WHO HELPS YOU WITH THE SONGS ... I MUST TELL YOU THAT JON SINCE 1991 KNEW PHIL XENIDIS THROUGH ALDO NOVA AND RANDY COVEN AND THEY MADE A TOUR TOGETHER BECAUSE HE PRODUCED ALDO NOVA AN DISC, BESIDE BILLY FALCON ALSO, BECAUSE JON INTRODUCED PHIL TO DAVID, TICO ... AND NEVER TO RICHIE ... THE LAST TIME JON SAW PHIL X WAS IN 1993 ..... GOING BACK WITH RICHIE AFTER THESE DAYS OR BEFORE THAT RICHIE HE WOULD START LOSING INTEREST IN WHAT HE WANTED TO BE? FOR EXAMPLE JON WROTE HEARTS BREAKING EVEN, IT BECAUSE RICHIE ASKED HIM PERMISSION TO BE WITH HEATHER LOCKEAR THAT SHE WAS MUCH MISSING AND BOSS GAVE HIM PERMISSION ..... WHEN JON STARTED MAKING FILMS AND RECEIVING GLOBAL NAMES, OR ... CHARITY EVENTS THAT MADE RICHIE FEEL AND I WAS WORTH, RICHIE PUBLISHED TWO GOOD OR LESS REGULAR DISCS AND LIKE THEY WERE NOT EXISTING ..... JON NEVER WAS IMPRESSED BY HEATHER LOCKEAR AND RICHIE AND HE KNEW THAT IT COULD HAPPEN A DISASTER HE SAID IN 1997 ..... WHEN JON WRITTEN THE SONG IT'S MY LIFE PASSES THE LYRICS TO RICHIE AND THE OVERWHELMED WHO IS FRANKIE IS FRANK SINATRA, WHO WILL CARE ABOUT YOUR SONG ... I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SONG .... YOU CAN SEARCH CRUSH TOUR ON KZread OR ITS MY LIFE RECORDING ON KZread YOU WILL SEE HOW JON WAS ANNOYING AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL SEE RICHIE HOW JON SEE TO TAKE THE PRODUCTION OF THE DISC SERIOUSLY THE SAME HAPPENED WITH BOUNCE THE DOCUMENTARY YOU WILL SEE RICHIE THE SAME EXPRESSIONS .. ..OF TOURING IN 2000 RICHIE WAS STILL GOOD NOT TO THAT SPARK OF TIMES IS TO SAY HE WOULD START CUTTING THE GUITAR SOLOS AND DRESSING LIKE ALLMAN BROTHERS OR STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN TO WEAR RIDICULOUS HATS ..... OR THE TIME THEY WERE IN A PROGRAM IN MEXICO 2002 WHERE THE BAND ANSWERED ABOUT RICHIE WHO USED TO PARTY WITH WOMEN AND IS MARRIED AND HAS A DAUGHTER, UNTIL 2005 CAME WHERE HE HURT HIS ARM AND FOR NOT SUPPORTING THE BANDAGE HE STARTED DRINKING ALCOHOL WITH PILLS, AND THEN LEFT IT UNTIL AT THE END OF 2005 THE UNEXPECTED CAME UP ... HEATHER LOCKEAR DISCOVERED AN EMAIL WHERE RICHIE HAD RELATIONSHIPS WITH HER SECRETARY BEST FRIEND ... SHE ASKED FOR DIVORCE. ON THE OTHER HAND, RICHIE'S FATHER DIED FROM CANCER THAT SAME YEAR ..... HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH DENISSE RICHARDS WOULDN'T WORK VERY WELL, FOR EXAMPLE LOST HIGWHAY WAS AN DISC THAT JON NEITHER HAD PLANNED TO RECORD, HE WOULD NOT HAVE DISCOVERED THE DISASTER TO COME .... ON LOST HIGHWAY TOUR 2008 JON GAVE SEVERAL SOLOS TO BOBBY BANDIERA BECAUSE MR HAT WAS PLAYING VERY BAD OR WAS DOING IT ON PURPOSE WHAT JON WAS ALREADY BORED OF RICHIE, IT CAN BE SEEN IN THE DOCUMENTARY WHEN WERE BEATIFUL WHERE RICHIE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO FACE HIS PROBLEMS OR HAD SAID IN 2007 THE ALCOHOL MY GREAT ENEMY .... I WILL NEVER DRINK MORE ...... WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF RICHIE HAD STAYED .... .. EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE DRIFT BECAUSE WE CAN TOUR WOULD HAVE BEEN A DISASTER .. IT WOULD BE OVER. I COULD TALK ABOUT THE EVOLUTION FROM 2015-2019 .... IT IS NOT THE TIME AND GREAT THINGS HAVE HAPPENED

@@goodearssrock6902 More lies from the TROLL. You're nuts with your BS stories you spread all over you tube. You've been banned on Facebook so many times and keep changing your name. Now you landed on you tube. Pathetic.

I love this song but what makes me a bit sad is to see how young he looked then and he then was in my age now and now he is 60 and in another 13 years he will be over 70 and I will be 60. Time flies.

Lyrics: This one goes out to the man who mines for miracles This one goes out to the ones in need This one goes out to the sinner and the cynical This ain't about no apology This road was paved by the hopeless and the hungry This road was paved by the winds of change Walkin' beside the guilty and the innocent How will you raise your hand when they call your name? Yeah, yeah, yeah We weren't born to follow Come on and get up off your knees When life is a bitter pill to swallow You gotta hold on to what you believe Believe that the sun will shine tomorrow And that your saints and sinners bleed We weren't born to follow You gotta stand up for what you believe Let me hear you say yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah This one's about anyone who does it differently This one's about the one who curses and spits This ain't about our livin' in a fantasy This ain't about givin' up or givin' in Yeah, yeah, yeah We weren't born to follow Come on and get up off your knees When life is a bitter pill to swallow You gotta hold on to what you believe Believe that the sun will shine tomorrow And that your saints and sinners bleed We weren't born to follow You gotta stand up for what you believe Let me hear you say yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah Let me hear you say yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah Guitar! We weren't born to follow Come on and get up off your knees When life is a bitter pill to swallow You gotta hold on to what you believe Believe that the sun will shine tomorrow And that your saints and sinners bleed We weren't born to follow You gotta stand up for what you believe Let me hear you say yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah Let me hear you say yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah We weren't born to follow, oh yeah We weren't born to follow, oh yeah

Rocking this song in a 2001 e450 eldorado aero tech 240 commercial bus, seating for 21, black bumpers, big windows, electric door, bus build date fall 2000, and the system up in the mid 20s, seriously this song is that good and it sounds that cool

Stevie Riks could do this voice if he wants to, easily. (Opinion coming from someone who may not ever have actually heard Bon Jovi until today.)
