Vocals are close to Jon’s back in the day. But no one can do the talk box like Sambora. Wish he wouldn’t do the falsetto notes in the end, the Eb5s are crazy enough.

Europe - The Final Countdown please! you are a genius \\m//

I love this guy and mean no offense. He's clearly a great singer. But it dawned on me that he's miming. Unless I'm missing something. But he's using what I think is a condenser microphone which are highly sensitive (hear the birds chirping down the street etc) and pellek must have great projection so he naturally stands back from the mic a decent amount not to clip it, but he's not wearing phones and I don't think I can see any form of in ear monitoring. Which is what leads me to believe that he's miming for the video because to hear the music he's singing to, it would have to be played in the room with him and a mic that's sensitive enough for him to stand so far back from it would also be picking up all the music and the end result would be vocal takes that have music bleeding into it as well as feedback from pointing speakers at a condenser mic with the same signal running through it. So unless there is a form of technology in use here that I'm not aware of. He's miming! I understand why, but for me it was a bit of a "Santa isn't real??" Moment.

Well it might be something due to the copyright on the songs because on Top of the Pops in the UK they had to mime to avoid some weird copyright rules... I dunno just a thought

It Could be that be because 3 different people were playing he might have recorded it in advance to send to them so they can play at the same rate as his voice and he might of mimed it later on for the video

No, you're right. I'm a musician with a healthy online following too (nothing compared to this) and I only put stuff out every few months and i get it, he puts out so much content so whatever the fastest method is would be the one to take, he's very talented and an amazing singer and I'm not bagging him at all. I just didn't twig for a good year until today :P
