Het Nederlandse televisieprogramma "Countdown" was van 1976 t/m 1993 “Europe’s Number 1 Rock Show” en werd uitgezonden bij Veronica. Later werd het programma ook uitgezonden in het buitenland en was het op z'n hoogtepunt in meer dan 20 landen op televisie te zien.
Gedurende deze 17 jaar muziekgeschiedenis zijn er opnames gemaakt met talloze internationale sterren, zoals Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, U2, The Police, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Lenny Kravitz, Depeche Mode, New Order, Whitney Houston, Duran Duran, R.E.M., Frankie Goes To Hollywood, The Cure, Run DMC, Cyndi Lauper, Iron Maiden, New Kids On The Block, LL Cool J.
Uiteraard kwamen Nederlandse top-acts als Doe Maar, Andre Hazes, Herman Brood, Frank Boeijen, Spargo, Golden Earring, Time Bandits, De Dijk, De Raggende Manne, Hans de Booij, Gerard Joling, Drukwerk ook langs voor een optreden in Bussum.
Countdown werd gepresenteerd door oa Lex Harding, Erik de Zwart, Adam Curry, Simone Walraven Wessel van Diepen, Jeroen van Inkel, Rob Stenders, Simone Angel en Jasper Faber.
Het Countdown archief is vrijwel helemaal compleet en sinds 2017 eigendom van het Amerikaanse Reelin’ In The Years Productions (David Peck - reelinintheyears.com/) en Double 2 Hilversum (Jan Douwe Kroeske - www.double2bv.nl). Het archief bestaat uit meer dan 3.000 analoge mastertapes die allemaal gedigitaliseerd en gearchiveerd zijn. Because he knew what they was gonna do which is sing the chorus part. I'm sure he knew they didn't know that he was gonna sing this song a bit different.

I just visited this channel and was surprised that almost songs were studio version perfect like, so all was lip-synced and this is just the only live?

When you see things like this you kinda have to remind yourself that they are actually human just like everyone else because they were so damn good back in the day.

Então o Richie na minha opinião é o outro vocalista da Banda. Todo o potencial da voz dele e mais os recursos técnicos faz dele um grande vocalista. 2°voz ou backing não faz jus.

I hate the song Livin' On A Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name, I have so many versions, it makes me sick when I hear them, and they used to be one of my favorites, I hate these slow versions the most, the fans get bored, I can't to dance with them, nothing, as if everything died in the hall, I just applaud them to give them a shout, but in reality you can see that they are bored listening...

Yeah, you can tell by the way that the fans are clapping, screaming, and singing along with the music that they are bored. They must be having a terrible time.
What is that? Santana's version? Come on, the chorus is such a mess. Jon Bon Jovi is a great songwriter but not a great singer, that's the truth.
This is what happens when you get tired of playing a great song over and over. You end up making the decision to play it in this SH*TTY way.
