I agree, Jamie Shaffer, it's the combination of their voices that gave them their unique sound. It was the same with Simon and Garfunkel and the Gipsy Kings (the original lineup of the 80s and 90s)

I do to miss Richie. I have seen most of Richie since he left. Sound as good as he did in the early 80's. Jon doesn't and he strains to sing. So, sad.

@@carlross1844 I know and Jon has gone down hill since Richie left. Hell he got gray hair within a year or two. It's a lot to have on his shoulders with Richie quitting. I'm not saying by any means how Richie left by not showing up was right, it's not. I don't believe they had not been having issues between them also. The whole mess is just that.

That's not entirely true they are still as good and selling out major stadiums and touring America this year and for the record richie left on his own accord and let jon and the whole band down and all his fans who had paid for tickets to see them jon aways been a better singer when the go and make solo records jon aways does better that's cause he's the lead singer and richie is a backing one fact

Mariah Carey and Luther Vangross and Chris Stapleton wrote songs and sang backup BEFORE they went out on their own. so there you go

Jon has some things Richie does not have and that is that magical can't really define STAR presence and that beautiful face and pretty blue💞eyes and that long flowing hair and pretty smile and pretty teeth. he has the whole package without doing anything. nothing and he just has it!! and oh that glorious voice with so much feeling. Richie said the moment he first saw him on stage he knew he was going to be a STAR.

I actually don't think Jon's looking at the teleprompter... Guitarists tend to looks at their guitars. &the amount of Beatles songs Jon and Richie have covered... They're definitely true fans. I love the harmonies in this so much it's ridiculous.

Jon has forgotten the lyrics of his songs, why he cannot forget a Beatle song? or why they need a teleprompter in the first place? He was looking at the teleprompter at the beggining. Richie did not look at it or the guitar during the presentation :)

Just terrific thank you, I am back as a kid in the Cavern Club at the Saturday lunch time sessions and all the bands where doing cover versions of the American artists songs, the Cunard Yanks where bringing back to Liverpool, from their trips to New York on the Cunard Liners, the lads who sailed on the liners, we called them Cunard Yanks, some came back with American accents in a few weeks being away, because they worked on the liners sailing to and from New York.
