Curated and led by David Lynch, Festival of Disruption follows his vision of meditation and creativity's ability to heal the individual and society from within. He believes that sharing the power of art in a communal setting is the purest way to raise awareness and funds for the festival's charitable mission.
100% of net proceeds from the Festival support the 501(c)(3) non-profit David Lynch Foundation to address the epidemic of trauma and toxic stress amongst at-risk populations through the implementation of the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation technique.

I don't belong in a world where we don't end up together. There are parallel universes out there where this didn't happen. Where I was with you and you are with me and whatever universe that is, that is where my heart lives in. - Comet(2014)

How many people has this song made cry
I'm currently in the bus heading home after a Bon Iver concert yesterday. The sun is setting and it's just the perfect scenario. Their shows always make me feel nostalgic, thinking about life and what not. It's the 3rd time. On the 1st concert I heard this song for the first time and it got stuck to my head. Everytime I hear it makes me burst into tears. The first time, 8 or 9 years ago I was very happy. Today I'm not, I'm passing by one of the worst phases of my life. And this hits differently. Yesterday concert was so uplifting. I think I'm closer to know now what I should do to move forward. Thank you Justin 🤍

So this happened. I've been waiting for this collab for a how many years now. Wow. It's nothing short of awe and wonder for these two ethereal artists.
Didn't want it to end, so when it did I just hit replay. Her voice is like a spell, except it's just honesty.

First time hearing it, first time crying with it.
This brings back memories from 5 years ago, when I was imagining my life 5 years ahead as I look out the bus' window.. I would listen to this song hopping back between for Emma forever ago, as I sit mindless and with no idea where I was going to get dropped off. They say nothing is perfect, but this performance is.

Which episode?
This tears me apart in the most beautiful way possible
Driving with my 2 toddlers... listening to youtube on bon iver repeats... this was the first time ive heard this duo cover... whatever it is. I start tearing up and thinking of my life... my 3 year old asks me in her cutest voice... “daddy why are you crying, are you hurting inside”? My response: no baby... daddy is just super elated... almost euphoric... Later explaining what these words meant...
If this doesn't remind you of love lost or love found... nothing will. Pure magic
ADORE ❤️ 🎸... LOVE MARC FROM GERMANY... 🌈🙏... PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THROUGH THE COVID19 CRISIS IN THE 🇺🇸 AND ON MOTHER EARTH.. WE ARE ALL IN THIS MESS TOGETHER... 😷😪....
This has made me so happy that he's done this again live and with Sharon. Love this man! What a talent ❤️
Thank you both for the wonderful minutes….you bring love into our hearts. Perhaps the most important message what music can do…….
So glad that separated this from the set. This was a special moment. Other favourites were the cover of Johnny Cash and Donny Hathaway. So lucky to have seen Justin twice this year in London
This is so beautiful. What a time to be alive!
Clicked because I saw Sharon Van Etten. She never disappoints.

Man, when Justin lays off the falsetto a bit, that's where the emotion comes through!

Wholeheartedly, wholesoulfully agree. (Yeah, i know the latter's not a word; it's how I feel). J.V's raw, deep, soulful baritone, showcased on his pre- Bon Iver independent work, KILLS me. Every of iteration of Justin is good
That was so, beautiful.

Mindfulness and meditation are demonstrably better for anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and other psychiatric disorders than benzodiazepines. Lots of people with mental health issue also have substance abuse issues because they haven't been taught how to properly use theses techniques. Combined with proper diet, cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior can actually train your neural responses and help with virtually any anxiety or trauma disorder. Thank you for putting this out ther Boiler Room, to anyone reading this have a good day!

i agree with the general direction of your comment (in that we are an over-medicated culture), but this is also a quite naive (and even a little disrespectful to people who suffer severe cases of a disorder). psychiatric disorders include several forms of depression or neurodevelopmental disorders that aren't taken care of with simply spirituality and meditation. these are actual illnesses where their brain simply functions differently than other people's and always will. these people need complementary medication to even function as a human being.

I do have an education in this field. I work as a addiction specialist under a doctor who specifically uses eastern medicine, and teaching mindfulness and meditation classes. There is actual research showing the benefits, It is better than most antiquated medicine used by doctors today. @staxstix Hey there! anxiety-haver here, hoping for good conversation. What do you think the balance is between representing meditation well and being respectful of people with severe versions of the disorder? Personally, I don't mind people being enthusiastic about these forms of self care - I think they have every right to be, given how effective they are for a looooot of people. And benzos carry substantial risks with them, do they not? I agree that maybe a healthy attitude towards treatment doesn't demean or look down on medication, but embraces it as a valid option. But I guess I worry - "disrespect" is a heavy word, and it's so very vital that these practices are shared. Curious what your thoughts are.
beautiful. that's all i can say
Comet. Beautiful.
Ai meu coração
I approve. Currently on benzos and other drugs wishing that I had been offered alternatives. Also, listening and being listened to are helpful in addition to meditation/prayer.
its like watching a modern day bob and joan ❤
