John Fitzpatrick your son is an amazing talent, and the luckiest damn guy in the planet. These shows are beyond mind blowing and he is part of the most special Music that has ever been released.

This was a fantastic performance and I was lucky to be there to witness it. But with that said, does it ever bother anyone else when a favorite singer (pertinent to me, Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes, Jesse Lacey of Brand New, Bob Dylan) sings a section of a song that you know so deeply in your memory with a completely different intonation? It's weird to say but it takes me out of the performance.

I know exactly what you mean and Vernon does it quite a bit throughout his live performances. It takes me out for a moment but I appreciate the diversity of deliveries in various shows and how I like some more than others. Shows just how beautifully malleable music can be.
