My mom and I had very little when I was growing. We shared a bunk bed and used cutting boards as plates. She bought me an N64 and a television (that I still use today, despite it being old as dirt). One night, she rented this game from our local Hollywood Video and set me up. That weekend was magical.

Your mom is super cool!! I remember my mom would take us to Hollywood home videos to rent our N64 games and when she found bomberman, she was HOOKED! Wouldn’t even give us a chance to play on the n64 haha x)

Thanks for sharing your story. I didn’t have much growing up either, I also have fond memories of my mom making simple, home cooked meals on a Saturday night while playing this game. I hold onto those memories dearly

Terribly underrated game. It's a pity more weren't made like this during the N64 era.

this game was so good. and so was the soundtrack omg

My parents rented this game for me on Thanksgiving when I was little and I remember playing this all day with the smells of turkey and bread baking. Good childhood times.

Will forever be my favorite videogame soundtrack! I used to play this game all the time as a kid. So nostalgic that watch this made brought a sweet tear to my eye. My old N64 is somewhere in my basement. I’ll have to dust it off, blow in the cartridge, and play this game again!

MD MArtin one of the best N64 soundtracks

used to play this back when i was 5. The music inspired me to make my own beats when i was young, now im the percussionist for a band i formed in high school.

Man idk how young I was, but for some reason this game has always stuck with me :) I used to loveeeee this.

One of my most favorate Bomberman games out there next to Bomberman Generation and Bomberman: Second Attack. I still have to this day since '98 thanks to my dad. I remember that after he came back home from work we went together one evening night to KB Toys to buy this fun game.

I had this game, and I could play it for hours, but at the same time, it was hard for me to pass it lol

All 3 are great but my personal favorate of the N64 trilogy would be Second Attack. I also recommend ya the Gamecube duology too as they are just as good the N64 trilogy!
