She is the Queen!!! Mesmerising magnetic voice as if thousands of honey 🐝 are singing together. Only one Bombay Jayashri maa for this universe - now and forever!

She is not a human..She is an Angel🙏

My experience goes like this. Much before this concert hpnd, I'm a huge fan of hers. Listening to life concert I attended some 8 years ago at MLR, blore and left thrilled totally. The grace,gait and meticulous planning with which she goes about her each endeavour can be witnessed to believe how deep within she cares not only abt music that is unlearnt in front of learned connoisseurs. Her desciples have been religiously following the master herself in the most admirable manner and how hv beautifully each one of them hv blossomed is a matter of Pride for all music lovers. Long live Jayashriji and your heavenly music. I look fwd to such divine experiences once more and many times...by the by for connoisseurs knowledge, this soulful rendition that chills our benumbed veins about the abstract is composed by one of the finest learned composers of our times Late Pt.Sri Vasant Kanakapurji 🙏🙏🙏🙏 what a divinity in the composition as well as the lyrical experience

Bombay Jaishree is the best of the best in steering her voice through the high pitch notes, always a challenge. It takes a lot of practice. She has done that - Sadhana.

Many uploaders of video are either unaware of the theme of composition of songs they post and the composer, or they purposefully don't post for many reasons. How is it possible to know that this keertane is on great philosopher of India Sri Madhwacharya and this composition is of Sri Vadiraja teertha of Udupi mutt of Karnataka. We Indians don't want to give the credit to the composer and know the composition atleast on whom it is composed,yet we enjoy its beauty so easily. Very sad

"Ondu Baari Smarane Saalade" is a devotional song on one of the three Acharyas i.e, SriMadhwacharya, who proposed and rejuvenated Dwaita Philosophy. This song was penned by SriVadirajatiirtha, who lived in 15-16th centuries. His pen-name is 'Hayavada' i.e, the horse-faced MahaVishnu. The song is in Kannada language.

But more important is that even one has wonderful voice, the mere changing the words usage of improper words, shall not only spoil the song but also the singer's reputation...

Ramesh Viswanathan Thank you for the lyrics. One small correction. The song is in Bhairavi of Hindustani, not Carnatic music. In Carnatic music, the Raga is close to Sindhubhairavi. Thank you

Could have been better had she sung the full lyrics. She missed some.

Wonderful rendition, no doubt, however the pronunciation is not clear, there are errors in it, and kindly cover the important stanza having “Hayavadana” as it was composed and written by Vadirajaru, also in daasa sahitya, try covering the whole song.

Soulful singing. But lyrics pronunciation should be very much better than this. Since we have listened to this song sung by Pt. M Venkatesh Kumar (Padmasri awardee) with such a clarity of each word it feels something is missing in this singing of Jayashree madam.

one who dislike here may be mallus they cant accept anything other than Malayalam music.

I think Bombay Jayashree freely plagiarises :( Sung gloriously by Pt. Venkatesh Kumar ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6WDlLh-YrGsdKg.html), this rendition seems pedestrian musically or devotionally... Then there is a bhajan in bageshri 'Ramam Ghana Shyamam' sung sublimely by one of the harikatha artistes - again BJ falls short in its delivery... And then, everyone knows about the pi lullaby controversy... She sings well, but fails to stir the sublime ;-)
