Such a beautiful voice the song has been engraved in my memory for over 30 years
A truly forgotten masterpiece ... how can the view count be so low, I was expect millions of views ... its a shame how the passage of time buries some great tunes, this song was played frequently on the radio when it was released, it was praised along with other great ones like 7 Second in the same time period ...

Agree but 7 Seconds wasn't from this period, that came out in 1994

I remember hearing it on my Aiwa Walkman in Amsterdam. Might have been Power FM I was listening too. Great memories.
A truly forgotten masterpiece indeed. I only searched this out after looking at an old scan of music and media magazine radio playlists

One of my all time favourite songs, stone cold classic. On a side note In 1976 in the Peak district, it actually snowed in July, during an actual heatwave.
I can't believe I've never heard this before today. Loved it immediately and always will, early 90s trip hop was unbeatable

My God! Ghosts is one of my favourite songs of all time, and Tin Drum is my favourite album of all time. Can't believe I didn't notice that. I wonder if it's credited. Thanks for pointing it out.

@@vermilliongecko It certainly is, although sometimes I think the live versions on Oil On Canvas are even better than on Tin Drum. Visions Of China in particular. And I love that long introduction to Ghosts with Mick Karn on sax.

The song is about not allowing time to pass you by. The video is just meant to be as mysterious as possible.
