Bomb Scare at Jewish Wedding in Brighton - 10th September 2017
On Sunday 10th September 2017, Mulhern Media were a few hours into filming Gaby & Dan's Jewish wedding at The Grand Hotel in Brighton. 2 minutes into the wedding ceremony the fire alarm went off. Everyone thought it might be a hoax but it was for real, and not just a fire, but a genuine terror threat.
Yorkshire Wedding Videographers Mulhern Media were filming the wedding and managed to capture the events as they unfolded. The event was organised by Leeds based wedding planners Smooth Operator (smoothoperatorltd.co.uk)/
All guests were evacuated to The Hilton Metropole where everyone was informed of what was going on. All guests were in there for at least an hour until the rabbi decided that the couple could get married in a room next door in The Hilton.
Four friends and family members held up a sheet so the Jewish Wedding Ceremony could go ahead and Gaby & Dan were married. They then partied and the band improvised and used glasses and cocktail shakers for instruments.
The speeches went ahead but we were running out of card space and batteries. After roughly 5 hours we were allowed back into The Grand Hotel where the wedding party partied the night away.
