Love this! When I saw the videos for movement plus I was very turned off how everyone was using it to basically noclip fly around the areas, making the whole map feel small. Sometimes you really gotta slow it down and appreciate the smaller jumps and grinds.

Ha, yeah I basically had the same feeling. I like action sports, so playing the game the more realistically felt a lot more fun for me. Filming these was also a huge challenge to execute, so it added a new level of difficulty too

great edits, sometimes we gotta slow it down. interesting m+ config, that’s really creative!

Not a big fan of m+ in most of its forms, but being able to remove the slowdown from ground tricks was a huge benefit for this. Thanks for showing some love!

Give it a shot! It gets really complicated if you're doing all the camera movement while playing, but if you keep it in the default trailing position it's pretty relaxed and fun to mess around

This is sick but I like realistic skate physics better (like skate 3, where you can fall, falling off your grind, losing momentum from grinds, and some tricks that require speed and are harder to achieve)

Well I do think realistic games like skate is extremely impressive, I think this is a different genre from that. I think this looks fucking incredibly amazing. The visuals on this is absolutely nuts. This looks like it's going to be an absolute blast and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

I changed the grind leaning animation to different grinds, so I would hold left or right as the grind started to do a different grind.

could i ask what your config for movement+ is?

The only thing m+ is doing in this is stopping ground tricks from doing the brief speed slowdown. Otherwise it's vanilla movement.

How’d you pull off the board slide at 1:30?

For that I swapped the manual animation for the board slide animation and then manualed across that ledge. I had to line it up to look right since you don't lock in on it. I used the same process to get the board slide at 0:50 as well.

@Blck7 in some cases, yeah. for that I changed the leaning grinds, and the starting grind as well, to different poses. That way I could either just land in whatever I set to the default grind, or hold a direction when I landed on a rail to do a different grind without having to start with the default and do a switch up to change. Holding halfway would also blend them together so I could do things like the front feeble looking grind down the stairs in Versum at 0:42.

i had collect them from around the starting area of Mataan, then kick them down to the lower level, then kick them onto the manual pad, then slowly push them around until they lined up. THEN i had to do that all over again because i messed up my first try and they all went flying 😅
