My love for Iommi style Black Sabbath riffing lead me here. I've spent my entire life chasing the music dragon. This is one of my top records of all time.

Really, the drummer does not get enough credit in this band. Everyone talks about the riffs (which are also godly), but the drumming is the engine of this tank.

This song obviously is about nuclear warfare, but does anybody know who or what does the War Master itself represent? The nuclear weapons themselves?

Warhammer 40k, specifically the war master Horus lupercal, son of the emperor of humanity, he fell to the ruinous demonic powers of chaos after being wounded by a corrupted blade, and eventually led half of his demi god brothers into rebellion

Actually the whole album is about Warhammer 40K :D - Games Workshop, the WH40K publisher was actively involved with the band for several years, providing album artwork, some support etc. although they didn't actively collaborate on this particular album.
