Bolt Action Tutorial: How To Paint WW2 British European Camo - Cromwell
Ойындар
Welcome to the third video in the Straightforward Tanks series where I show you how to paint WW2 tanks using nothing but an aerosol primer, normal acrylics paints and brush techniques. This time I show you how to paint British European theatre camo using a Warlord Games Cromwell as a subject.

I just picked up a Cromwell and was looking for a good guide on how to paint it. This has been perfect, I am really happy with how my tank came out. Thanks for the tutorial
This video is just what I've been looking for, thank you!
Sweet bro like the Cromwell!
Loved the video. It really helped me out!
Great looking paint job mate. Looking at Vallejo's bronze green which is used for British AFV kits, I would say Cultist robe would be close match.
Your friend Alex here wow I just watched that video very impressed beautiful job on that Panther I'm going to look forward to watching a lot more of your videos and when I get time applying it to my own tank thank you so much
Thank you very much I'm looking forward to enjoying the videos have a great day

There it is! Great video. I also really enjoy your: How to Paint German Infantry video, are you going to be doing one such as, "How to Paint British Infantry""?, that would REALLY help, I can't seem to get the right cross between browns and greens.

+Griffin Johnsen I'm currently planning a series in which I track my progress of building a Bolt Action force from start to finish. You'll be glad to hear that part of that series will include a tutorial on how to paint British infantry :)

Tanks!
Please do an epic winter stugIII tank (with snow and stuff)
nice job! didnt the british use bronze green on their tanks instead of army Green during WWII? or it was just on the early stages of war?
Beautiful job on the tank like the idea of no airbrush is there any way you can show us German camouflage by the way I just became a subscriber to you

Thanks for subscribing! Yes I've actually covered a few different German camouflages already. Here's one of them: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJ6ItZOlj6q9lLQ.html
What paints would I need for Vallejo or Citadel to do this? Can't get Army Painter anywhere near me :(

+Mojomancer I'm not as familiar with Vallejo paints but for GW: Army Green = Castellan Green Green Tone Ink = Athonian Camoshade Strong Tone Ink = Agrax Earthshade Matt Black = Abaddon Black Monster Brown = Baneblade Brown Uniform Grey = Dawnstone
Nice video, great to show the basics. One nitpick, however, it's not a camo scheme, really? The brits used the "Mickey Mouse" camo scheme, would be awesome to see your take on it.

+Leif “Laffe” Eriksson Yes I agree, it's just a colour rather than a camouflage scheme but for simplicities sake it's easier to just say camo. Yes the Mickey Mouse camo is something I plan to tackle in future videos. My intention is to cover the single colour 'camouflage' schemes first for each of the major nations before moving on to tackle some of the more complex patterns.
You should do a european Us Army tank camo scheme.
