Welcome back to the channel and another small painting update as I give my Fallschirmjager PAK40 model a bit of an upgrade to bring it in line with the current project.
I initially started the project using the Fallschirmjager starter box from Warlord Games and this is where I received the PAK40. This had been painted in a scheme that didn’t really fit in with the current project so I set to in repainting the uniforms. As you will see, more kit bashing has taken place with the metal crew replaced with a plastic one.
Other bits and pieces have been added including attaching it to a scenic base and adding various other pieces to turn this into a rather unique looking centre piece for my German project.
What started as a simple half hour task to repaint the crew’s uniforms took on a life of its own and turned into something quite in depth!
