I'm not Bosnian, but here's an explanation: Republika Srpska is actually one thing in two different places rather than two separate entities kinda like Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.

Slavic pronounciation aid - J - pronounced like Y [Not individually though] So, Sarajevo is pronounced as Sarayevo, Podrinje as Podrinye, Zenica-Doboj as Zenica-Doboj, etc. C - isn't pronounced like K, but it's pronounced like C in Czar. You pronounced Herzegovina ok, and Srpska is a word. Srpska means Serbian. And lastly, the c in Brcko [which is a diffirent c, btw] is spelt something like ch.

Bolivia fun fact: Bolivia has the most indigenous people out of any country in South America, with a whopping 62% of the population identifying as indigenous, the country also has a very weird history, it was named like that only to please Simon Bolivar, the founding father of South America, but he barely touched the place, instead focusing on Colombia, so Bolivia ended up quite disorganized, even becoming a single country with Peru for a while until they separated again, in the process it lost a lot of territory: -On the north it lost the region of Acre to Brazil -On the east it lost most of the Chaco region to Paraguay (though at the end Paraguay suffered the most in terms of deaths by a lot) -And on the east it lost its most valuable possession: its coastline, which is now part of Chile, the Bolivians being bitter with Chile and wanting a coast is still a common joke in the Spanish talking community, making the poor guys the butt of many jokes, another less sad fact is that they technically have 2 capitals (none of which is Santa Cruz): La Paz (the highest capital in the world), and Sucre. Bolívar was more the founding father of northern south america (basically the Gran Colombia and he also was around Perú for a while) but the founding father of southern and central south américa (where Bolivia is located) is definetly San Martín

Basically after the break up of Yugoslavia there was a horrific war between bosnia against republika srpska and what was left of Yugoslavia there was genocide done by the rebels and nato got involved after bombing by nato peace talks started and it was agreed that bosniq will be republika srpska majority serbian and bosnia mostly bosnian and the two republika srpska are the same

I'm not Bosnian but I'm so surprised that he manage to say srpska like that impressive that he said it right

Fun Fact: Bosnia and Herzegovina still has about 30,000 thousand undetonated mines.

So to pronounce Bosnia and Herzegovina you just have to put all the letters together and say them all out. By the way, the reason Canton 10 has a 10 in it's name is probably because the regions of Bosnia (That is short so this entire time you could have just said Bosnia) are called Cantons so it's basically like the 10th Canton of Bosnia.

I don't live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but basically what's happening is that the "Republika Srpska" is INE entity divided into two pieces. That region, wants independence but Bosnia doesn't want to lose a big part of their land
