Man Alchemist is arguably on the best hip hop producers of all time. He managed to create a sound that encourages lyricism but creates like a movie atmosphere and sometimes really addictive loops... and it doesn't sound dated. It's refreshing. He always creates beats that perfectly fit the artist.

Steel Wool (the 2nd joint) really reminds me of that early 2010's era Alc. The beat sound like it could've been on Gutter Water, 360 Waves, or M1CS.

Alchemist is far by a legend on the beat art game. He has had it on lock forever in my eyes. Seeing him still working makes me a believer that he is the 🐐. Steel wool 🔥
Boldy needs to narrate all American gangster films
when the world needs them most
Alchemist music is timeless.
Boldly James is already in my top 5 active rappers ...people definitely need to know who this man is ...shout to Detroit , love from DC/west Bmore ..
the fuzzy old school aesthetic that the Alchemist videos been having got me. Roll me one and chill for a minute.
This album is an instant classic.
‘times has got so hard’… ’time’ as in the beat and verses. another one in the chamber, salute.

I would love to see alchemist sound track a quentin taratino movie. Reckon that would be a great fit.
Cinematic music that creates moods and vibes !!!! Alchemist is an anomaly
man this feels like this could be even better than the first time, this joint is crazy
I swear. Alchemist's drums open my mind. He'll use claps and 808 kinda kicks n that shit ties in and opens my mind to using other drums rather than boom bap sounding shit. Alchemist is one of the greats

@@MidlandKruiskade we talking about the evolution of the sound bruh. With the exception of madlib, you talking about guys in their prime 20 years ago. The beats alc makes now sounds nothing like the beats he made 20 years ago lol
@MidlandKruiskade

@@Geeandrezzi thats backwards evolution then. Old heads be hating on the newschool but appreciate an Alc who's recycling his sound to make it sound dusty and its all the same. It can work for me, but I would never say thats GOAT work. You need multiple legendary classics for that. He was biting Madlib's Bandana on the entire album with Gibbs.. i dont know what it is that people call out Em for the best rapper and Al for the best producer. Even Hitboy is more progressive than Alchemist in his evolution. Alc made his best beats 20 years ago. Just like the people you said are past their prime. He ain't making back to back classics like The Realest or Book of Rhymes no more. Thats fine, its still dope, but GOAT...
