What was really amazing was that Bold Eagle was really off his game much of 2019. He was racing so badly earlier that year that owner Pilarski changed drivers - from longtime regular Franck Nivard to Bjorn Goop - and almost retired Bold Eagle from racing. This 60% version of Bold Eagle found the Fountain of Youth in order to win the Breeders Crown. Also of note, Bold Eagle crossed the finish line in this race with both ears forward, which is unusual. Most horses race with ears pointed back as they concentrate on racing, but Bold Eagle was kind of dawdling and goofing off ... as he won! 👍🐴

Wow, what a win for the super trotter! Bold Eagle can win anywhere!

Biensur mais il est juste condamné à gagner. Les gens ne comprennent pas qu il a été au top très tôt et que ses concurrents ont juste rattrapé son niveau et il vieillit aussi .Comme je l ai déjà dit sur d autres videos son René balliere de cette année est son meilleur chrono des 4 il est donc plus rapide cette année.

Unfortunately most dont understand 80% of our races here in the US are "Pacers"..and since its top speed for one mile, hence is the "standard"..we have the best and fastest Pacers bar none, Totting is more pure, and keeping the Trotter on the trot is a harder job then getting pacers to pace...Frech trotters I believe are the world's best. I would put up a three-year-old USA (before Elitlopp)Mack lobell against any french Trotter at a mile. He wasn't the same at 4 when he faced Ourasi, I would say Ourasi might have been better at longer distance tho, Best trotters Mack Lobell,(Best mile horse) Vareene, Ourasi, Bold Eagle. JFI: Mack was Nagged with Stifle and hock issues just like his speedy dad Mystic Park was, took its toll after all those tough miles

The reason is that the French breeders always really improve the race so that it adapts to all the distances and all the disciplines (races under the saddle included) and also so that the horses wake up better (at 11 years, the trotters can not run in France and are often resold in other European countries that do not have a breeding as powerful as France). American breeders should quickly introduce the pedigree of French trotters in the US Standarbreds to catch up because the current French trotters are generally much higher than American trotters (75% French and 25% American seems to me the best compromise to get the best trotters) . For the standarbreds, I think that Moni Maker was better than Mack Lobell because this mare won everywhere (even in France) and on all distances whereas Mack Lobell did not know how to make only the Mile and did not have a long and glorious career ...

Pacer races will never be allowed in Europe because for Europeans it is not a natural discipline for horses. Lasix is totally banned in Europe because it is a useless product that tires the body of horses over time. Bold Eagle is the oldest horse in this race, yet he did not need Lasix to easily beat the best American trotters who are younger and almost all with Lasix ... ...

@@jasonderulo2816 Ou tu lis que je remets en cause son palmares ? Quand a la comparaison avec le roi ourasi ou varenne ,là tu perdston sang froid. Tu oubies tenor de baune , qui a gagné le prix d amerique invaincu (32 victoires de rang il me semble)

MIA MALINOIS Bold Eagle est un cheval qui a peu couru pour un cheval de 8ans (68 courses) et au Canada Il a gagné facilement sans puiser dans ses réserves alors pourquoi parles tu de retraite?? Si il a gagné "un réclamer" comme tu dis bah écoutes tu devrais essayer d'en réclamer un mais je crois que tu vas devoir au minimum vendre ta maison, vider ton P.E.L et aussi travailler 30ans en bouffant des patates pour obtenir une patte du moins bon parmi les 11 participants....mdr

@@fini8610 Euh quand on s'y connait un peu on ne peut pas oublier de mentionner l'incomparable Idéal du Gazeau: 2 X le Prix d'Amérique, 2 X l'Elitlopett, 3 X l'International Trot, 2 X la Challenge Cup, 2 X le Aby Stora, 2 X la Copenhague Cup, 3 X le Grand Circuit Européen,... Sans oublier ses autres victoires de G1 : le Critérium des Jeunes, le Critérium des 4 ans, le Critérium des 5 ans, le Critérium continental, le Grand Critérium de Vitesse de la Côte d'Azur, le grand Prix de Paris, le Prix de l'Étoile, le Prix René Ballière, le Prix de l'Atlantique......sans compter une bonne vingtaines de G2... Et si j'avais le courage je parlerais aussi de Moni Maker qui a tout gagné aussi....lol

@@fini8610 il est impossible de faire des comparaisons, car les adversaires, les conditions ne sont pas les mêmes. Regardez la génération des B est bien forte que celle des C ou D. Donc la seule chose que l'on puisse faire c'est regarder le palmarès mais impossible à comparer.
