They rarely give Taylor bars but she's had a few against Morgan and Morgan never has a quippy comeback. That's another thing that separates her from a fun villain like Sheila.

Morgon is just such a lackluster villain. A more fun villain would have said something like "no, I ate it". A scarier villain would have said "no, I stopped by last night and put it in your house. I like your pajamas by the way".

Tired of Alf (Morgan). And Tim Reid looks like the dad from Alf.

Steffy was the smart one of the bunch; even at this age.

I really can’t blame Taylor for needing to get away for a couple of days. It hasn’t been that long since Steffy was supposed to have not only di ed ,but eaten by a shark! That is one horrific death that you would not be able to get over ,and is surely a case for complicated grief. Her anger with Ridge is also understandable She keeps playing back in her mind him keeping her from checking on the kids. And him suggesting they rearrange the child’s room so soon after Steffys been gone would have me in a rage too!

I don't think I'd be able to ever get over thinking a child of mine has been eaten by a shark as the way they d I e d. That is just way too morbid. And unreal (so I don't blame Taylor for not believing that it is real). It's not even like she drowned and they could bury a body.

Agree with your take on Taylor. Haven’t watched the show that much lately. But I have watched it recently, and Taylor is acting overwrought with grief for the loss of her child which is understandable. Ridge does not seem in sync with Taylor‘s feelings. I find B and B difficult to watch in season 13. The Morgan storyline is ruining the show for me. It seems too evil and sick.🤨 Maybe somewhat interested in watching Deacon in action. 🤔

But she is not only angry for Ridge's behaviour on that boat. She herself is blaming her for Steffy de ath. She is angry with Ridge becasue he wants to move one so fast but she can't and also for that night with Morgan which led to this tragedy.

13:55 there's Ridge's picture on Morgan's mantle... Didn't Dr Tim see it?? It was the only photo in the whole place. So he can clearly see who is the man in Morgan's life big and bold on her mantle and he must recognise him from the news. Meanwhile... Not even a photo of her "daughter" Steffy /Stacy in sight. His spidey sense should be tingling

Taylor may have been driving the car when she realized where Morgan lived but Stephanie is still the one driving the plot. She's the one who told Taylor that Morgan was back and making a play for Ridge. She's the one warning Ridge that Morgan is still a threat to his family. Both of these things - Taylor going over to see Morgan and Ridge becoming suspicious of Morgan - will kick this plot into another gear. With Stephanie visiting Morgan, and Taylor, and Ridge, it's like she's the director arranging the scenes and telling everyone how to act.

True! However, to me it felt contrived that in her current grieving state of mind, Taylor would decide to stop by Morgan's house just to warn her to stay away from Ridge while she was gone. It was clearly just a way of getting Taylor into Morgan's house so Morgan can capture her in the -dungeon- fallout shelter. The motivation from _within_ Taylor's character didn't ring true. What grieving mother would go "oh, there's that woman who is causing trouble. I'm just going to say a quick hello on my way to finding myself"? Another interesting point is how active _little Steffy_ is in terms of driving the plot. She is actively resisting Morgan, giving Morgan the idea to involve Tim, and calling her real mother back into the house.

@@annieo6527 @mara I agree with you both that it's contrived and s t u pid (like so much of this storyline). That's why I think they had Stephanie drop by first to let Taylor know that Morgan was back and that she was still obsessed with Ridge. It's almost like Stephanie sent her to confront Morgan (the way she often directed Taylor to confront Brooke in the past when she was making a play for Ridge).

Morgan pretending to cry. I don't know who is the worst between the actress and the character.😂

I don't see Taylor running away from her problems. I just see that as a way to protect her children and Ridge from her. She meed space to forgive Ridge for Morgan and S. Thomas becasue clearly she hasn't really forgiven him.

Would have been a great time for Ridge to realize that Taylor was the love of his love!

It is a very interesting dynamic between Ridge and Taylor. Brooke was always very vulnerable, fragile and needy. I think Ridge knew that he would always need to take care of her and be the strong one which isn't sustainable for either of them. It is entirely different with Taylor. She is usually the strong, rational and calm one in the relationship. She makes everything okay and brings out the best in Ridge. Ridge has never taken care of Taylor, she has always taken care of him and now that she is falling apart, he has no idea what to do. This is actually quite clever writing although it is frustrating to watch. As much as I love Stephanie, she is partially to blame for this. She has always babied Ridge and never given him the chance to solve his own problems and stand on his own two feet. It is one of the reasons why women find it so impossible to have a relationship with Ridge without Stephanie's approval. It is clear that Stephanie doesn't think Ridge will be able to resist Morgan if left to his own devices. I still find it infuriating that they expect Taylor to be over her daughter's death less than a week later, but anyway. I don't know why she didn't tell them that it was her psychiatrist who told her she needed a break. I am loving Steffy playing up for Morgan.

Right. Taylor took care of him every time he was with Brooke also, putting aside her pain and helping him when clearly Brooke didn't know how to deal with their problems.

While I agree that Taylor generally has been the active and calming one in the relationship, taking care of Ridge, Taylor has also stated that (her marriage to ) Ridge gave her life a sense (and I assume now her children). Several times when Taylor lost Ridge, she lost control of her life and spiraled downwards. At these times others like James, Jack and Stephanie (later her kids) have tried to help Taylor. ITA that Ridge too often gets treated like a baby - but yes, Ridge isn't really doing well with problem solving either (how long did he keep that secret from his wife and allowed Morgan to be around them), or is he?

Whyyyyyyyy is Taylor telling her anything????

Neither Taylor nor Stephanie currently really worry about Ridge's sister-in-law, Brooke. Since they both recently supported that pairing, it would be strange if they already would.
