I agree. I wish though Jake would leave and get away from Donna. I liked him until he blamed Felicia for his issues. Can’t stand people who blame others for their own problems.😡😡😡

Ridge does seem different since Caroline's death. There is a big empty hole in the show without her.

Gosh, it’s amazing how it all changes with Macy in years to come. Looking at them today, Thorne and Macy seem like a couple that would go the distance, and not be tempted by others who are little more than passing fancies.

I will never understand why Thorne and Macy self-sabotaged with Jake and Karen. Macy wasn't even all that into Jake (she was attracted to him but clearly loved Thorne more deeply), and Thorne wasn't even all that into Karen (he was attracted to her but clearly loved Macy more deeply). But when they felt rejected by each other they turned to other people and then took forever to work out their differences and all the misunderstandings that ensued because they didn't manage to communicate. I still think Macy's affair with Jake, and Thorne's whatever-it-was with Karen, were low points for the characters (I mean "I want to reach through the screen and shake some sense into them" low points). Of course, Thorne sank even lower when he fell for Brooke years later.

Exactly what I hate about this story. I love how they love each other…but like I have said before, there is not one, not ONE couple on this show that they ever allowed to stay a couple. They never allowed a couple to stay together and weather the storms of life together. They loved their triangles, especially within the family…starting with Ridge/Thorne/Caroline. It never occurred to them that we the viewers would’ve loved a couple to stay together and in love

@@rosamariann I know and I think seeing at least a few couples do this would have made this soap a little less irritating. But I guess with Thorne they could never figure out what to do with that character. I would have liked Nick to stay with one person or maybe his mother at least.

Thorne is such a nice guy its so rare to meet someone like him in your life never the less fall in love with him Macy is so fortunate a real man who is willing to give up anything to be with you

Eric Forrester and his children have mental, understand, and learning disabilities. Wait till Throne marries Brooke Logan after Brooke Logan kill's Macey; Ridge, you're mother should of married you're father not Eric Forrester.

Thorne: "I'm saying goodbye to Forrester." If only he had stuck with that decision he would have been spared a LOT of trouble and pain over the next decades. And so would Macy. Thorne should have just jumped ship and gone to work for Spectra then and there. Instead, he spent many more years stuck in the basement and ended up being shipped off to Paris with no stock in his family company, no wife, and no child.

Macy gives Thorne a really good reason to get out from under Ridge at Forresters. Guess he has had enough. Not really surprised since he almost worked for Bill once.👀👀

Thorne's idea here that he should just say goodbye to Forrester is probably his biggest moment of clarity in all of his years on the show. If he had just stuck to that decision both he and Macy would have been so much better off in the long run.
