Boiler Bytes: Intelligent Scenery

When Stage Directions Magazine challenged students all over the country to build a specific type of robot that could help rearrange scenery, Purdue students from Engineering and Theatre decided to take it a step further - from automated to intelligent. They wanted to create a programmable robot that could find and track a specific line on the floor, even after the line changed. Called the Intelligent Scenery Simulator, or more affectionately, "ISSy" the platform has applications beyond its original design.
