The Boi singlehandedly convinced me that AI has a place in music. It can't make music itself, not now, and maybe never... but it is a tool, and anyone can make great things with it, if they are skilled enough.

so what i heard from other artists is the fact that BOI WHAT is super formulaic in his song creations. and the way they explained it was that it's super formulaic because he knows the fundamentals of what goes into these kinds of songs. rifts, transitions, the usages of common rock? passages and music. he knows it, he's an expert at these fundamentals, and THAT'S why it's so good. it's not formulaic because he's putting together common things within rock songs, it's formulaic because he knows he's doing. and i think the results speak for themselves. i'm not really a long time fan of this genre, but after listening it on loop, i've been loving watching so many other people's reaction to this spongebob "parody" series of songs

if i may add some fanfic of my own to this, plankton found the album "Heaven and Hell" somewhere in the ocean while wandering and thinking how he can obtain the krabby patty formula, then he of course invented a machine that could play this magical disc underwater, until he heard the song "Neon Knights" he heard the chorus and began building right after.

Yes and no, he is singing however it's an AI voice filter rather than just a simple filter that shifts pitch and whatnot

I definitely feel like this is the best way to use ai, somewhat minimally, using it as a simple voice overlay whilst still needing to provide the singing talent under it, plus just the overall production past that is INSANE, it's definitely underrated. *Plankton Nu Metal goes CRAZYYY* would definitely be called Sinking in Reverse, yo that band name goes CRAZY kinda wanna cover it even, to be able to request it to anti ai content creators, its just that good

One of the best perks from watching reaction channels is the gems we discover every once in a while. Boi What is one of those gems. I was in this live stream listening while trying to scrape my jaw up off the floor from it going so Hard! Im a fan! Anthony (i think you said you played this for your daughters already but) it would be dope to see a video you driving them around or something banging spongbob HARDCORE music lol And get their reaction. what's funny, the first song is about how AI is making people blind to what's real art, and what's ai generated art. hence the "clap clap clap" part showing people will celebrate it regardless of the potential repercussions. It's really insanely well done.
