I just did this look and they turned out great.. I did on blown out hair and only used product on my base and curly pieces so my hair would not revert. Looks great… it gives me vacation vibes also.

1. The takedown honestly was no different for me than taking out regular plaits, just very time consuming. But keep in mind I did refresh the curls pretty frequently so this might be why I didn’t experience any crazy matting or tangling 2. No damage at all 3. Hell yes lol in a heartbeat!

I really like this style. I think because of my hair type, I'll test it out on like 2 braids to see if it holds up for even 2 days. My little coils will probably be non-existent by the end of those days.

I kept it in for about a week and refreshed it a few times out the week just to get the curls juicy again. Definitely could’ve kept it in longer but I had to take it out for work 😢

No, I have 4a/4b. Type 4 refers to the shape or your curls, typically s-shaped and/or tightly coiled

1:05 might take me 10 hrs then lolll, usually takes me 5 hrs to do mini twists
