That is amazing, 68 is not old and I feel the same way at 38 (I turn 39 in June), this year is a new me and time to say goodbye to the old and get the furniture I want to get instead of having this boring basic furniture.

Doing the same here. My father recently told me how he is throwing away even chipped plates because they hold bad energy. "Out with the old, there's no place for the NEW!!!" he screamed at me! I quickly realized I've been hauling old crap with me for many years and I am suffocating. I've been going through an immense rough time and honestly, emptying my closets, finally hanging up curtains, putting together every room and organizing how I will redecorate the rooms has been the greatest shift in mental state and motivation for me in many, many years. Best of luck, hope your place is everything you could wish for by now. Hugs from Europe.

Thank you for a really intelligent and yet, sweet and warm video. My last child just moved out, and I want to go for a new look to avoid being depressed. I feel really positive after watching this video. I have storage full of memories from all over the world, I grew up as a missionaries kid and travelled in humanitarian aid after. I already have what I need for this! I watched so many interior decorating channels and found I cannot afford any of that since I am now disabled, I can do this!

I moved to Florida from Iowa to retire bringing my dark Boho style with me, now that I'm here, my style has gone from dark everything to tiki Boho, lots of rattan, jungle fabrics and grass rugs, everything that didn't work in Iowa...I have a definite tiki vibe that makes every day feel like a vacation...awesome video...!

I think it is the best idea to decorate a room if we have a lot of furniture in different colours instead of minimalism theme which is mostly full of white color. I planned to do this in my room. Thankyou!

Great tips and video. I absolutely agree, you can never go wrong with a stunning Persian or tribal patterned rug as a feature to layer, or build your design, upon. This would have to be my favourite style of decor and it's a timeless look that can be adapted as trends come and go. I also love that blend of modern and traditional, rustic and luxurious.🥰🥰

The "Boho" style is one of the most interesting and striking that can be chosen, due more than anything to the fact that it's an aesthetic style that tests people's skills in terms of crafts and creativity, even to use recycling materials. My favorite style is Mid-Century Modern, but I always like to add bohemian touches to spaces, to make them more "organic" and not so "cold". For example, right now, we just bought a Togo sofa from Manhattan Home Design and we would like to use it with a boho style rug. Thanks for the video. It has filled me with good ideas!
