Bohemian Rhapsody by Freddie Mercury.
This is a short film of Edgar Cruz's fantastic arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody. Shot, recorded and produced by my good friend Rob Wright at Mama Liz's Voodoo Lounge.
My guitar is custom made by AJ Lucas, of Lincoln, England

Matic Gabor It'd be a pleasure, But I'm pretty limited to UK gigs unless you can afford to pay for my travel... in which case you could get Edgar Cruz, he's the guy who arranged it.

this was tears-in-my-eyes and lump-in-my-throat beautiful. Absolutely magnificent. thank you.
I was a teenager when I saw Queen perform it in 1975. A Night at the Opera had just been released. Over the years it's gotten so much airplay it's easy to forget what a great composition is really is. Thank you for making it "fresh" again. Well played sir!!
Freddie would be most pleased. Amazing.
The way you feel what you play, the way you tap every single fret... You're an artist, not only because you play amazingly well, but also because of how you show your emotions using the most beautiful language on earth: music. Freddie must be proud of you.
Dude I rarely comment after watching a video...but Damn man that was masterfully executed!! Dynamics were brilliant! I have been playing for over 30 years now and that... was mint!!
Thanks for all of your comments & views. Just hit a million! :-) thank you x

Classic guitar without stained glass windows, candles and flowers? But beer kegs? Oh, god, I love it. Easy on the ears as well. Rated 5 pints.
One man orchestra! I felt like I was listening to the band playing. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Very well done and this with such a difficult composition. A rocksong transposed to a beautyfull classical performance. chapeau.
I could watch you play guitar forever. So intense, and lovely.
Brilliantly executed, to one of the best songs ever!
This is just ridiculously fantastic. I am in awe of the dedication needed to master the classical guitar to this level.
Guitar Techniques magazine have a now legendary tab of BoRap. I've been learning it for the past 14 years, dipping back in every few days, yet I'm still only a 1/3 of the way through it. Hats of to this guy - he well and truly nails it. It's a song of nuisances, highs and lows, and Steve masterfully demonstrates all its quirks and complexities.
this video deserves 10x the views it has. this is by far the best interpretation of this song on guitar i have ever heard. bravo to you sir and thank you for your dedication to your awesome guitar playing. keep being great man. you are the best!
Steve Bean, it's so beautiful ... I swear I had tears in my eyes :) :)
The most stunning and heartfelt interpretation of anything ever. Played with grace and technical sophistication. Bravo. Bravo. I'm 62 and have listened and played music my whole life. I just love when someone takes something like this to a whole new level. I didn't like Freddy much even though I recognized the talent in him and his band. You captured the real essence of that entire piece, with nothing lacking. Amazing work. What a joy it was to enjoy that piece in such a different way.

His name was Freddie, not Freddy, and his band as you put it, they have a name, he was the lead singer but the other members had just as much input into every song... I'm not exactly sure how you think this is taking Freddie's masterpiece to a new level, it's good but it's definitely not better than the original song!
A wonderful solo guitar arrangement that truly captures the emotion and strength as well as downright fun of the classic Queen composition🤗🤗

And on the seventh day, God went to the theater to watch this performance.

This is just earthly music, but god prepares for those who believe in him something that eyes and ears have never heard or seen before!
Great performance, Mr. Bean. You showed by your terrific skills what genius Fred Mercury was. As well as why the guitar is a so much loved instrument, for I bet it's the one and definitive instrument that can mostly inspire and tell so many, many about someone's soul!
extraordinary performance... been playing over 40 years and that is up there with the best!!
Oh god dude I just clapped and I'm by myself.
Thank you!! You are absolutely right because I used to practice every single day for up to 4 or 5 hrs.from 11pm to 4 am. And then from Monday to Friday because as time passes by I really start feeling tired,I have two jobs and the only time I have free is during nite time, soon I started to feel overwhelmed, I don't know if it happened to you, but I mean I really want to be good at it and maybe someday make a living, that's why I'm so hard on my self, but you're right just like u say I will start doing. Thank you!!
Nessun commento superfluo, un vero capolavoro riarrangiato in maniera divina.... Onore a te Maestro
I"m moved by the music for the first time in many years. Thank you.
Best transposition of a piece iv seen bravo, bravo, bro!!!!!!
Simply amazing! I'd like to echo John's remark about how much time and effort this must have taken. Excellent!
Guitar Virtuoso -- It's like you've combined the vocals, guitar, and bass at the same time. It's beautiful!
gotta be one of best and most complete versions i have heard, great job.. a delight to listen to...
Smooth, i’d love to listening this oftenly
Stop thanking us, WE THANK YOU Steve !! :)
It takes so much heart to play a sound like this. This is beyond classical. Great work!
Excellent Performance. It is not just the technique but mainly the dynamics. you could notice how the guitar "sings" with so much emotion.
Simplesmente Perfeito! Bravo!! Bravo!!
Steve Wonderful music and playing. Thank you-John
I think that`s the best way to play the song on guitar... the arrangements principally.... just awesome !!
Truely beautiful! I never imagined that lovely piece of music was hidden by the recorded song!

Incredible.... I am blown away. That was amazing. You did that song so much justice. Every note was perfect.
Wow .... I thought it would have been impossible to have recreated the kind of dynamic range that exists on this song on classical guitar until I heard this ... amazing.

*INCREDIBLE*, I did not even realize I was holding my breath while listening and watching this virtuoso. Incredibly hard to transcribed to the classical guitar and hard to play, *BRAVO* a thousand times.
Absolutely fantastic. That was quite a mesmerising performance, once I started to watch stuck with right to the end. That Rock/Pop classic suited the classical guitar very well. That was one of the most exciting guitar pieces I've heard.
WOOOW! Im gonna use this song for studying! For sure it will help :)
