FUN FAN FICTION:
Most people don't know about the intergalactic roots contained within Bohemian Rhapsody. It was actually originally a Klingon Warrior's entire epic saga, and the piece was 6 years, 4 months, and 2 days long, give or take - depending on who counted it in.
At an intergalactic music conference (SXSWXSEXNXNWXSEXSWXNXNEXUPXDOWNXSXSW) in 1974, Freddie overheard one of the Klingon bands playing their new demo for some big shot record executive. After introducing himself, Freddie convinced them to let Queen use the music for their upcoming album. Naturally, it had to be dumbed WAY down to the blink-and-you'll-miss-it 6 minute hit we know and love on Earth today. Thank you Freddie.

It takes a bit of a niche person to dress up as a Klingon. It takes an entirely different kind of niche person to own and play the theremin. The fact that there is at least one person in the middle of that Venn diagram makes me unbelievably happy.

I feel like the two circles would skew together at least in part, if only because the theremin is an integral part of the iconic TOS theme. If you're interested enough in Star Trek to want to dress as a Klingon, odds are likely better that you'd *also* want to learn to play the theremin.

oh... YeahButThenDragons... that handle is enough... like a tertiary character, after a whole lot of unsuspected events happen (like Rhapsody in Klingon) is pointing to the horizon and declares, Yeah, but then, Dragons?! And no one pays heed because they're content that the most absurd events have all already occurred.... and then the Dragons... and everyone dies, ah, what a relief.

Freddie Mercury surely had Klingon opera in mind when he composed this! LOL!! The theremin!! You have to be a musician AND a serious Trekkie to appreciate... seriously -- they may not have had enough budget to get the makeup, and the shakey shuttle crafts are part of the act but they freaking found someone WITH a theremin who can play it!! Shit luck - I'm sure. You guys rock.

Also produced by yours truly, and recorded in the same studio. Have a great day eh!! ❤️ 🚀 Rusty
