You dont even need parts when you have historic weapon kit. You just need to right clickj your weapon, maintain, and there you can swap any part for a 100% one using one charge of historic kit.

Been playing og anomaly and efp a bit, but this modpack hits different. I feel like a kid i was when playing stalker for first time

The armor and weapon building, the medical overhaul, the ballistics, the base building, sitting by campfires to heal while listening to the radio and having a smoke in the rain, all adds to the atmosphere and immersion. G.A.M.M.A is by far one of the best FPS, survival horror games I've ever played. With the dismemberment mod installed, the gunplay hits so much harder. I'm running that OTs-03 SVU right now. It's a good rifle. I'm on the road to get an Expert toolkit myself.

Whilst hovering over a armour piece you can hold CTRL and it will give you stats as if you've upgraded it and it's 100%

The the 4 round bolty toz has been my go to gun for the longest time. It's accuracy is insane for a shotgun. Does the same damage as a 870. I've killed hundreds of stalkers and mutants with that.

also, put that 45 in your binocular[vision] slot

I started using a 357 revolver in my game and it's amazing. I two shot an exo wearing monolith with it center mass and domed a different one in one tap.

I also found a 9mm version of a steyr aug. So there are a few variations for some other rifles as well.

Don't feel bad, I die so much it isn't even funny. I died three times in a row in wild territory when I first started not even realizing where I was getting shot from and it's hard for me to tell which faction is which. I hate the fights with multiple factions clashing, like the main mission where you talk to Gatekeeper and monolith attacks. I couldn't tell which was monolith or freedom so I just hid and let them wipe each other out before I went rat and looted a bunch of good weapons from them

You and everyone else. Even Klean is getting awfully lucky here, one more random shot winging him could have ended him repeatedly in this run. Turns out getting peppered with bullets can really jack you up if your protection consists of nothing more than a fiberglass and kevlar-reinforced CBRN suit.

Klean " i hate hypsters" proceeds to blast his face with buckshot

Dude gets a smg with a 95 round mag, reloads after 5 shots haha

I will never look at crows the same after this.

First time stalker here and im loving gamma. On hardest difficulty is rly challenging and fun. After I finish ill be playing StalkerZ or maybe another playthru with other fraction(I'm thinking clear sky) on ironman and medium difficulty.

@@terrygoudreault3693 I feel like doing iron man on medium will be hard enough regardless of fraction. And it is maximum i might stand chance. AI on hard is just broken sometimes. If you will meet 2 or more controllers at once they can kill you even in god mode

Which mods do you activate in order to have the backpack and skinning/looting animations please? For some reason changing the condition values of drops in the mod sliders only effecting the condition of weapons and the amount of ammunition we find, the condition of found armor pieces are allways close to 0% sadly. Using Magazines increases the immersion but it crashes the game often and the change seem to effect the savefiles irreversibly, so if you're planing to try out Mags Redux, don't forget to make a backup savefile of your progress, so you won't have to start all over again.

He's probably using a non updated version. This is from discord: DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file. This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them. If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following: - interact with objects or people - use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it) - open your inventory - drink/eat/sleep - check your HUD in the bottom left corner If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands. The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands. Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands: - Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this - Animation for skinning mutants - Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed - Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

It isn't a mod, the options for it are under your settings in the escape menu, but i don't use them either even in the newest update, I had issues with the skinning animation. Not the busy hands glitch but my char wouldn't pull out a knife, instead they kneeled next to corpses and seemed to fiddle with mutants to skin them. I never got the backpack animation to play out properly like it does in this video either.

Ump 45 is the best weapon for mutants hands down in gamma hp rounds do insane damage and the ump 45 has 25 rounds as apposed to a shotgun that has around 10 rounds maximum without mags redux.

Ks-23 Says hello. Tbh the saiga fully upgraded with its ammo cap and damage is insanely broken for mutants

​@@terrygoudreault3693 I've never actually used the ks-23 because I never find it till very late game and even then the ammo for it is so expensive also having to hand load shells no thank you saiga is much better for me I can quickly swap out ammo on the fly with almost no down time. I use both the saiga 12 s isg and the ump 45 depending on what I have the ammo for out of the two I would still say the ump 45 is better for mutants it turns faster has a much larger ammo capacity can fit a leupold scope with an rmr and is less cumbersome overall. What saiga ammo cap are you talking about? The saiga in gamma comes in a few variants the most common two the eco and merc versions are 6 rounds each not that great imo you can immediately make these better if you are running mags redux the other two versions of the saiga are pretty good the original 12 s comes with I think 10 rounds without mags redux but it is pretty rare from what I've experienced the last version is the isg version this version is the best saiga 12 s you can get it has either 10 to 12 rounds can't quite remember which. Can fit decent optics and has an inbuilt laser. Out of all of these versions I have never seen this ammo cap upgrade you are talking about.

@@DEMONID1000 Yes the hydro shock is the hp round for the ump 45 I was talking about it is the best round for mutants period this is why grok nerfed it slightly. Even with the nerf it's still phenomenal.

Yeah, .45 ACP is a very solid mutant-killer regardless of what gun's firing it. The UMP-45 is supposed to be ridiculous, but I haven't fooled around with it much yet.

@@Mr_wisk Yeah, that's a bit of a problem with SMGs in general in Gamma. Sure, you've got the rate of fire, now have fun supplying them. I'm running a really basic shotgun and 1911 in my current early-game playthrough. Took out a random Controller camping the road to the Garbage after a bit of doing, after it killed me out of nowhere.

my bag doesnt open like that for some reason.

I lost the animation for butchering mutants and opening my backpack after the update, do you know how to bring that back Klean?

Why dont you use the "clip" addon? i think it adds more immersion and difficulty

There’s like an additional mouse button mapped to it I think. Check keybinds.

Using backpack animations is an extremely dumb move. Have fun bricking your saves with the busy hands bug

If you can get your hand on a Rifle Dynamics RD-9x39 ISG than upgrade it and try it. It's so good. Working laser, canted sight, granade launcher, and give it an ACOG. SO GOOD! (u can activate lasers on weapons by holding [L] button if your wep have one tho :D) If gamma had less stutters would be perfect.

If you press and hold the flashlight button ('L' by default) you can turn on the weapon atached laser sight. Allso, if you have a secondary scope, if you press the undermounted grenade launcher button ('V' by default) you can swap betwen the sights while aiming.
