First time I've found a demo that rolls it back up again. Only seen it rolled down so it made me think that rolling it up again was difficult. Thnx for showing me that it's not :)

THANK YOU! Got a system like this (generic, not Manfrotto) and only had instructions for when the rack was up. Was trying to figure out how far to space them and couldn't find a tip anywhere.

Nice video! A lot of light is going to bounce around in a room that narrow. You may need to put some black fabric up.

Thank you for posting this, I was wondering how the distance I needed to consider between the two mounts.

I kind of like the video (except the black end), but would like to see how you install the triple hook (method 01 = on the wall & method 02 = on the ceiling -as you did-). Not only that but I also expected to see how the whole thing came together (putting the hooks on, the holder in the roll of paper, etc. ...). I think that this is impossible by yourself - you need help by this!). Anyway thank you very much for this video.

Over time, the center of the cardboard roll will warp, rendering the system inoperable. You really need a solid bar extending along the length to prevent this. Unfortunately, I don't know of any such systems that also enable the use of a chain roller.

I ordered mine today and was wondering the exact same thing; how much space is needed in between the two brackets, I also plan to mount mine on the ceiling. thanks for the info.

Do you have to have 3 different chains/pull mechanism for the 3 rolls you would have there, or can this mechanism easily taken off and on to another? Thanks!!

We have this system but find that when we unroll the backdrops they continue to unwind and we are unable to stop it til it reaches the end of the roll which then comes off the roll. Do you have any suggestions for this?

i wish you would have done the time lapse on the lights for the actual wall mount because a visual is more understanding than explaining it. I'm still unsure but oh well. back to google i go
