Thanks man! He's a way better gunsmith than he is a cameraman. We cut all the chambers for our trimmers on the Hardinge.

We appreciate that Jake. After we released this product, we even purchased one of the BOG Infinite Tripods, just so our walk in customers could compare them side by side. The Infinite Tripod has a price tag on it... yet there it sits, and our adapter kits are flying out the door. In my opinion, they tried to solve the problems with the original tripod and in the process, created another product with a different set of inadequacies.

Thanks Brenden, We appreciate your business. We ordered one of the new BOG Infinite Tripods, just so we could compare it side by side with our retrofit solution. We have the two tripods sitting side by side in our showroom. We have a price tag on the BOG Infinite...yet there it sits. While our Ball Mount Adapter Kits are flying out the door.

Excited to get my hands on this. Is there any benefit in adding Green Loctite around the sleeve to act as a bedding compound instead of Ballistol or is a tight fit not crucial? Very informative video!

Did the new Bog Deathgrip Infinite model fix all the previous problems? I am from Germany, so buying the Infinite Model is probably my only option, even though it is very expensive imo.. Because I can't seem to find anything that I could mount onto an earlier model of Deathgrip and convert it myself into a ball mounted clamp system for cheaper money..

I personally do not think the Infinite model fixed the problems with the original. The Infinite is better than the original model, but for how much more expensive it is, it doesn't work as well as our solution.

Just saw this video do y’all offer anything that would attach to a Primos Trigger Stick Tripod Gen 3? I am considering buying the death grip attachment and would live the ball head for maneuverability.

It looks like the Primos Trigger Stick has an available "Accessory Mounting Plate" that you can buy to attach optics etc. It looks like it has a 1/4-20 thread. You would need a thread adapter to increase that up to 3/8-16 thread. At that point you could attach our ball mount to that accessory plate. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for the support. I guess the best way to answer that is that there are many businesses in this area that have the name Little Crow in them. Little Crow was a Dakota Chief that had historical significance in this area before the Civil War. Also, the Crow River runs through this area.

In the video you listed everything in the box as a kit. Why is so much stuff listed separately on the website?? Is this still a kit or not??

Good question. We are finding that some guys only want part of the kit. The "Complete" kit comes with what you see in the video. Minus 1 QR Plate.

I have a Sako 85 varmint 243 and he bogpod clamp does not hold the wood stock securely. Take a shot or two and it jumps out. I’d like to change from the clunky clamp to a ball joint Arco. My problem is securing the adaptor plate to the wooden stock. Any ideas to make it secure in the long term?

Yes, we hear that complaint often because the inside of the clamp is square, when it should be tapered slightly to keep rifles from jumping out. You can attach an ARCA plate to a wood stocked rifle, but that's bordering on gunsmith work. You would need to find and ARCA plate designed for hunting stock. Then you would need some appropriately sized T Nuts to secure the ARCA plate hardware. The T Nuts require some drilling into your wood stock to secure them. I wouldn't call the process "easy" but depending on how handy you are, it can be done. That is the best long term solution for a wood stock.

I see with the death grip vise, there was some wiggle. With the arca, does it have the wiggle also? I know the padding in the vise could be causing some of the wiggle. Just wondering before I buy your product.

Great question. There will always be some wiggle when you are only gripping the rifle at one point. Our product doesn't change how well the clamp holds the rifle. But it does make the tripod much smoother, easier to use and more practical to get the rifle level in all field applications. We have had zero returns because the customer was dissatisfied. Only 2 returns, because the customer couldn't figure out how to assemble it. No other returns. But we have had hundreds of emails, calls and comments giving positive feedback.

The one thing I don't like about the original mount is the tilt, even after you tighten it, it still has forward and backward play. Will the ball mount totally eliminate that play?

The Ball Mount is a drastic improvement over the original design. It is even a considerable improvement over the New BOG Infinite Tripod, that also has a ball mount. We have one in our shop for comparison. To answer your question directly, no, it isn't possible for ANY mechanism to completely eliminate all play. If you think about it, when you grab the rifle, and apply pressure in any direction, while the ball is locked. You are applying a tremendous amount of leverage on a relatively small surface area (the ball itself). That's a tall order, to expect it to eliminate all play. What I can tell you is that we have sold a lot of these already and we haven't had anyone call back with buyers remorse. But we have had a bunch of positive feedback emails and calls. I will be releasing a video soon where we are shooting 5 shot groups at 200yds, on paper with factory ammo and a handload that's in it's infancy with our 22 Nosler Test Rifle. Dale and I both shot sub-moa groups at 200yds for 5 shots, off the tripod with our ball mount, from a seated position. There isn't zero play, but its pretty darn good. Thanks for watching.

@@LittleCrowGunworks I finally got a chance to check over my tripod, the 4 bolts holding the grip were loose, tightened those and it helped a lot. But there was still that tilt play in it. So I tilted and tilted till I figured out the problem. The two metal plate inserts that the tilt bolt goes through are not 100% tight allowing the play I was referring too. So I took off the grip at the tilt and put some super glue around the edges where those metal plate inserts slide into mounting (for lack of a better word ) fingers. I let it dry, put it all back together and 99.9% of that tilt play is gone.
