They’re astronauts; ‘brave’ is kinda in the job description. No doubt they are acutely aware of the risk, but I imagine it must also be exciting, getting to be the first test pilots entrusted with taking a brand new spacecraft out for a spin. That’s a rare privilege. I wish them a fantastic flight and a safe return.
