He sure does. Did you hear him mention he is also over Flight Operations? This shows Kenya Airlines is incredibly invested in this Captain. I would not be surprised if he wasn’t flying a whole during that time, and they ended up taking their star pilot and had him represent Kenya Airlines for this video.

I love the pilot's autobiography. Faith+determination. He has certainly earned his status. I love the African people and that warmth he spoke of in the beginning is very real.

Greetings from Zagreb! I've flown over Zagreb (which was my ultimate destination), with Kenya Airlines from Nairobi through Amsterdam, several times.... It's funny to fly over your city not be able to take a parachute and land down in the middle of Zagreb (where I live).... Hahahahaha But I love Kenyan it was a comfortable flight!

Agreed! I am in a leadership position in Software Development. Although I am close to the Captain’s age, I always try and learn from (whom I feel are other!) great leaders. After speaking with his team about their commitments, he said he didn’t believe in using a pen to have them sign a contract, but instead uses his heart..:and so he asked to shake their hand if they agreed and were committed. That was gold and will definitely implement that myself when warranted.

Great lessons. I have a lot from both of you. Great leadership and ambition from our captain.

I am happy to see the professionalism that was deployed on this flight, from preflight to inflight briefing. Also, as the captain brief the crew, he requested a commitment for the task at hand. The Copilot knew his stuff and never stumbled one as he explained the complexity his aircraft. It was an honor to observe this crew at work.

I see KQA has come a very long way since the old days of the 707 rust buckets...I'm also remembering when KQA wet leased two of KLM's aircraft (747 & DC10) for their busiest route, which back in the day was KQ135 out of London Heathrow, calling at Rome FCO and on to both Nairobi & Mombasa

I wish l could pursue this profession. But if I could get a chance l could do it. Very interesting.

When was this flight? Because the aircraft is not in service of Kenya Airways anymore since februari 2016 when it was delivered to Omni Air International?

When was this recorded as kenya airways ceased operating the 777 but they use the 787dreamliner in the long haul flights
