Boeing 777-300ER high power engine run

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

After engine start, the party starts at 01:00. Watch the whole thing shake and rattle as the twin GE-90-115B's are being run on high power. Spool ups at 02:00, 03:35, 04:00 with some ups and downs in between up till the end of the video. 03:11 engine intake vortex close up. Pure music.

Actually 126,000lb of thrust at testing was easily achieved and sustained, (which is what they look for) and that was the GE90. Not sure of the conversion to hp. And it would be sHP..not bhp...(shaft hp) Over 120,000lb thrust. See kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z6ygscSdiKmehqg.html

+Average Alien unfortunately, the 737 fuselage is just 3% larger than the GE90. However, a -115B can easily fit the fuselage of a Concorde with plenty of room to spare. The Concorde had a fuselage width of 9 ft and 5 inches, about 2.87 meters. The GE90-115B has a fan blade diameter of 10 feet and 8 inches, or 3.25 meters wide. That means the GE90-115B is more than a whole foot wider than a Concorde fuselage :)
