I-5 is actually the first freeway specifically designed for Emergency Landing of both north and south flights along the west coast. They talked a lot about it especially during the Korean War when they thought military would need the extra emergency landing strip.

@@Vortigon Ah Ya.. i dont know where you got that info but airliners are desinged to land in water. Its actually the safest bet. What road or freeway is going to be able to support a 737 landing ? Many aiports are bulit near water because of emergency. Airlines fly over oceans eveyday and need to be desinged to make a water landing. Its why the seats are desinged to float... I cannot imagine a pilot trying to find a road big enough without streetlights, with traffic blocked off in time. Airliners stall at 110 knots, thats pretty good for a 130k lb plane. The hutson water landing was about 185knots, it landed perfectly and did not fall apart,..... Im a avation enthusiast and I think your speaking out of your ass.. sorry no offese but you dont know what your talking about.

you’d have to land the airplane just right on water so it doesn’t bounce, roll, or break apart due to the friction of the water. hitting water can be the same as hitting concrete

Those pilots should get an award for that phenomenal landing. Seriously that might have been one of the greatest landings I have ever seen and I’ve seen some amazing ones. Especially the Hudson River landing with the US Airways plane. The Hudson River landing was definitely the best but this one is a very close second in my opinion. Yes my channel might be amusement park related but I am a huge fan of aviation. I know an amazing landing when I see one and this is no exception.

With some shootings onboard and when they finally land it, the paramedics come and help the wounded. But then one of the paramedics gets shot too. But the all make it out alive and took the shooters into custody. Nice story eh? But that would need a lot of editing and time.

The dashcam shot at 2:21 is probably the most realistic shot in the whole video. Very well done.

I don't know why people in the comments are saying this is fake! This is real footage people. The pilot called in an emergency and the word got out and news agency and people with drones heard about it and got some amazing footage. They all did a awesome job. Real folks! Not fake.

@@ScottDLR Do you think on 911 the cover-up was the knowledge that that autopilot could be updated to fly outside it's limits. I feel they modified or cheated it and all they needed to do was get it in the air and program it past the autopilots normal limits and prevent the system from kicking out and that is why they seemed to do amazing maneuvers that usually a a green pilot couldn't do otherwise.

Menacing birds at the end was a nice touch haha
