with the sentence 'I often had to run from the police man, but now I'm insured I have policy man' he means that he is now insured (rich) and he has policy. Here in the Netherlands and Belgium when you are insured you get a policy number that is actually your insurance. He is very good at playing with words.

Boef is a dutch word used to describe a thief or a common crook.

When you are listening for the lyrics i recommend anything by Mocro Maniac. He is a Morrocan Dutch rapper that spits bar after bar, mostly known for his sessions in the booth. Also, he uses alot of English words so i think it's kind of more understandable.

Great reaction! He's maybe the most capable rapper from our country. I always said that Dutch Hip-hop died when Opgezwolle (Dutch Rap group) got disbanded but Boef really started something. Awesome artist but maybe a little to commercial nowadays.

Habiba means (darling sweetheart) and Zina is a term for a beautifull girl. So the chorus is aimed at a girl/girlfriend. Saying sweetheart why are you stressing me out beautifull. I'm on the streets with thieves, i have to earn so do not become too in love. The polis line is actually amazing. A polis is a number that people receive when they get health insurance. The line roughly translates to : So often I had to flee from the Police man but now i am insured I have a polis (health number) man.

There is a sly problem if you can understand Dutch. This rap is written in a specific Dutch slang. You wouldn't understand it at all + you have to understand a few Moroccan language too. The big cities have different forms/kinds of slang cause there are different kinds of hoods.
