    It always amazes me how these sort of people think they can actually “convince” you of their obvious lies

  • @TomBeck-gd8hr

    @TomBeck-gd8hr

    Its because most people don't say something when their friend or family member lies about something small, it's not worth making a point about it and just move on. Or because there are some people that just don't know how to recognize lies very well and is gullible. These factors make people get the hightened sense that they lie better than they actually do but once their faced with a situation where lies do matter, it becomes so obvious but they still believe that they can easily deceive people

You can always tell what factors play out in situations such as this………one’s demeanour of their attentions certainly says it all………you can pull a fast one on me. Lying won’t get you far in life, it just makes a fool out of you……..Shame and Guilt, put you on the spot.

    You know it never ceases to amaze me that people never question anything they are told! From 16 am jur pru 2d section 177...for those that don't know these are the rules for judges! ....The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be In agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. That said Article 6 section 2 of the constitution says exactly the same....The Supreme law! So if any thing in the constitution is the Supreme law...and LIBERTY is a gaurenteed right, can one person just one ...apeal to my common sense and tell me how you need a driver's license to go to work or to the store? I'm begging someone to come up with a good answer!

    I understand why I didn't have troubles with the police everytime I got pulled over when I was living in the USA; I was cooperative and they quickly found out I wasn't any bad guy they were looking for. They have so many actual criminals to care about, they almost always let me go without a problem, except two times when they gave me a ticket but they were nice about it and that was only two times out of 10. There's a certain attitude and courtesy to have when talking with police officers, as in don't bullshit them, recognise your wrong doings, crack a few jokes to let them know you're not nervous, just basic courteous human interaction.

    Manny P the difference is that a criminal uses weapons to harm officers and evade capture where a cop uses his to protect the community and risk his or her own life in the interest of public safety. I think context - as always - matters.

  • @patmos09

    @patmos09

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Manny P Actually most police accidental discharges actually happen when cops hurriedly pull their weapons from their holsters. e.g. Oscar Grant. Having the weapon out allows them to focus on the THREAT or NON-THREAT rather than panicking about getting their weapon on target to defend themselves- which results in bad decisions. They CAN handle the job, but by necessity of logic, they need to be in a position to react faster than potential threats, since, unlike the threats, they have to REACT to the threat. Since the initiative determined by the suspect, police need to have a head start to defend themselves, each other and the public. These guys have to be ready to react to threats in split seconds for hours and hours of the day. Accidental killings because of already havign the firearm out are almost non existent. Yes it is stressful when cops have their firearms out, yes it absolutely SHOULDN'T be necessary, but it IS. That's the reality of policing in a country like the USA. The OVERWHELMING number of times police get their weapons out, the situation is resolved peacefully. When it is isn't the OVERWHELMING number of shoots are totally justified. But the media just pumps you the 2% of shootings that are bad. If YOU don't like it, either push for more gun control or move to a country that already has it (like Australia, where policing is much safer, and so cops can conduct themselves at a lower readiness level). Don't tell police not to take necessary steps to defend themselves because you simply don't understand what you are talking about.

Most officers would not have been that patient, but these 2 officers was very nice & gave him more than enough chance to surrender!! If that sergeant was there before them, I believe it would have been a different situation & he would not been so patient ! I applaud those 2 officers & thank God they wasn’t hurt or killed & hope their sergeant is okay 🙏🏽❤️✝️

    Before using non-lethal you're supposed to yell it out usually 3 times or so, so that other officers know whats going down. Same reasoning you hear cops yell taser, taser, taser before deploying the prongs. If I hear a fellow officer yelling taser, taser, taser, I'm getting my hands off that subject as fast as I can so I don't take the lightening ride too accidentally. It is funny to hear pepperball being yelled though as opposed to taser.
