A southerly swell pulse arrives to NSW and a regional favourite reef comes to life with endless racing barrels They're fast, they're hollow - and those who've ridden this spot and 'Lacerations' in Indonesia will agree that the similarities are uncanny. Bodyboarding / surfing waves on reefs, in remote locations around Australia and Bali. I love both novelty and big waves! With everything that's going on in the world right now, there's nothing like getting into some waves and surf to take us away from it all. Self-isolation in some deep barrels is a valid way of social distancing!
I love exploring new waves in new locations and I love bring my viewers along my journey. Sometimes it get's sketchy as some of the waves I surf (shallow reefs, dry reefs, deep ocean slabs) get pretty gnarly. Hi willy i know this surf spot called the spot at Nobbys, haven't surfed in years, but what a extreme south swell, you should see it on a East Swell 10 times better

Pretty sure that's Nobbys beach, Wave out the back is pipe and little one at the front is called The Spot.

Funny how on first view I wondered what tropical session this wave reminds me of. I figured maybe that 4ft Bingin back when and then it hit me on reading your description - mirror image of that big Lascerations in 2001 around the same day the twin towers got blasted

Was a shit load better b4 bulkar decided to fuk up all nobbies reef breaks. Late 90's early 20's barreled it's tits off & could make every barrel, as spot & 1st pipe were my loca
