Two of my favorite guys in the world doing the funnest job ever
I am a Steve Dulcich fan, really talented and humble guy!
56 chevys are my favorite car! Beautiful car .
LOVE the Wrist Snapping steering wheel.Good Luck Racing
The 56 Chevy might be the coolest looking of the Tri-5s.
One of my neighbors in skools older brother had a 56 with a straight front ,454 , turbo 400 and narrowed 12 bolt. I hated that thing, anytime he heard us punks messing around he would ask us if we had twenty bucks. I learned my lesson quickly after getting destroyed a few times 😂
Dulcich has his own dyno? And Dave has nicer parts just "laying around" than I buy new!

@@NitroModelsAndComics yeah, considering how much he talks about 'em like a salesman, I'll guess he got 'em for free. BUT he's been in this business for years, so seniority pays off. no hate, just reality--folks won't pay to watch someone just like them do just what they'd do with the stuff they can afford so they can run the same 14 seconds in the quarter mile :)

As much as they were stripping weight out of it, I’m surprised they left the heavy vacuum tube radio in the dash

Have a 56 210. Came with the Stovebolt and 3 speed. Now has a 406 Dart and a TH350 prepped properly. Strange 9" and Strange disk brakes. The Jim Meyer Racing weld-in engine mounts made easy work, along with the plastic 350 bloc for alignment and angle. Found receipts from Bogota Columbia Hotels with the orig license plate numbers on the receipts, still in the glove box, along with a air force ID card, with that name on the receipts. Hmmm. If it could talk.

WHAT?? Steve's got HIS OWN DYNO!!! COOL!
Good job guys you make us proud.
One of my “associates “ in h.s. shortened a 57’ 4 door wagon by Chopping it in the middle and made it a two door. I thought it was ugly until he installed a slightly worked big block / turbo 400 and narrowed 12 bolt . It would carry the front wheels 1/4 way into 2nd and then got really squirrelly! Mission Accomplished.
Dent in the rear before: Impossible to live with. Dent in the rear after: Mint.
Dulcich needs his own Channel.
somebody has a new smile!
My 66 mustang had a TJ green interior and a matching paint job. It’s all back to original vinyl black now.
Love Dulcich and Freiberger. Cool hot rod guys
😂 Greek principle of leverage. Good stuff
I really like this show, takes me back to the old days. I first noticed RK when you ran Richard, pretty sure he's not from Texas! Keep up the good work,,,,,,signed duct tape and vice grips.
Just plain cool. (At the part where they make the first hit.)

Nice work. 👍✨ '69 was the last year for suicide doors which makes this ol' girl even more special, fine job gentleman...
I had this dream where i was building a car. It was a regal that those valve covers reminded me of. I changed the front clip to fiberglass and painted it. It was taken by a passenger and from there a gas station. So i went to the junk yard cause i had to hurry before the track closed and didnt have any cash on me then. So i built a car in a hurry and when i put one of the used slicks he said it leaked. So i had borrowed a turbo to use and worked on the heads. So i had no nitrous and designed it to build boost about 30' out and when it was race time, i was in the right lane against a v6 who hid nos. Then he jumped the line so i acknowledged it and since i built it i wanted to test it since i was already at the tree. When it lit i went and that tire leaked on the drive down to the track. It wheelied off the line and the driverside rear gripped twisting the frame and put me in the wall. That car wasnt parked against the fence in this dream. It was weird cause i was doing somethin in the distributor with ignition firing order and like balancing centrifical motion when it reved so hard all the fuel was gone in seconds.
Nice job smashing the corner of the glass hood when you went to weigh it.
im surprised that you didnt try to get the dent out using a deflated football, soccer ball or basketball. i have seen those work.
Real life Beaver and Bunghole !
Love these guys..
body swapping ? you mean engine swapping ?
I think we need a roadkill tri five showdown. Between the hosts there’s a 55,56 and 57.
living in the rust belt, it's always wild to watch reality TV take a car this old and every fastener unbolts like nuttin. these shows want drama, they should save one of our junkyard cars, and spend all day rounding off a head bolt...
Nice 👍🙂

Excellent
My favorite tri 5 even tho I grew up around a 55 that my dad raced and drove. He had a 348 tri power from his 60 impala that a old lady totaled for him and dammed if another old lady pulled out in front of him while indy 55.
I've never seen a 265 with an oil filter boss cast into the block. They used add on filters.

Only in ‘55 265’s… in ‘56 they changed them
put a sufficient strut brace over the front suspension to prevent it from bogging out Freiburger and Dulcich
There are times when repositioning your wood can be advantageous.
I’ve never had any luck with suction cup dent pullers of any sort, the dents concave and suction cup needs a flat surface
2,9xx lbs isn't bad, the front/back weight bias needs some work
@MotorTrend Channel are y'all going live during Roadkill Nights?
can someone please get Dulcich some t shirts that fit?
Wish you guys would air the trip with the 56 to Samoa Drag Strip....
Like episodes! I try not to pay attention about bump steers and bump stops! Like Kelly on married with children, every 1 thing she’d learn, she’d forget something else

@@davidgalea6113 belts should be zero to no more that 20 degrees down from the top of the shoulders. New belts come with installation instructions showing how to mount. In my race shop we try to get to zero to 10. Harness bar needs to be brought up. Makes it difficult with more that one driver.

Just did this to my 57, cpp on ebay. 90 for the mounts and hardware and the install was quick and easy. You have to move the trans mounts as well and that wasnt as easy. I used the speedway trans mount kit i think its like 150.
paint dark purple, call it the purple monster
You should call it REV-ERENCE which is an opposite of Blasphemi

with that dent put heat on it fro heat gun and when it is hot spray dry air that you clean computer with on it and the dent will pop out

you loose handling when the eng gets moved forward
