This was probably my favorite episode in the series so far. I just loved the confusion and especially when Coolment told owl he was lactose intolerant last second.

Sam has some pretty heavy sin’s coolment even was like wtf cSam is such a interesting character you could tell the fact he’s just rolling with it and just done with it all Like his villain arc is so damn good when you look back on it he was: A innocent little boy, to a teen who gets pushed around and bullied by the whole town, to a teenage psychopath that everyone is scared of, to the bringer of the end of the multiverse, to they are just done with it all I have some theories about Sam and his character if anyone wants to hear them I also got some about ghost I’ve been told that one is really good

7:17 OMG it's Gareth's classroom! The robot he tried to steal, the acknowledgement of Gareth's classroom. All of the references he referenced from the original. Man, I want to see Okami and Silly return maybe! Though I guess that would be hard. I just want to see more past characters!

Watching and waiting for the premiere was awesome! Loved all the callbacks to the original series, this was a VERY funny episode! Favorite moment was probably "Sam" (coolment) chasing down "Brent" (lighty) LOL!! Keep it up sam! :D

28:28 IM SOBBING SOMEONE PLEASE DRAW THIS

This episode was so, so good, it had so much of what makes the series great. The comedy was great, this was easily the funniest episode so far (Owl was unhinged in this episode in the best way). It had some hints about the characters scattered throughout (Owl being Sam's enemy, the spell not working on Coolment initially because he hates himself ). There was some slight progression of the overall plot too, Nova is seemingly reaching her breaking point on keeping her secret and might spill the beans in the future, and Owl seeing ghost Grimbus for the first time. There were a ton of cool references to the OG series to spot. And all those little music changes for every class was a nice touch too. I can't wait to see what happens next!

This episode was so fun!! The body swapping was a great idea it was funny seeing everyone a little confused to who they were actually talking to😂

My Two Favorite Parts 37:39 Coolment switching up so fast lmao😂 40:42 Coolment and Owl acting like Beavis and Butthead😂

You know, considering this new series and everything that I'm loving about it, I do hope the Wiki for the original YHS gets updated for the Reboot. The cast this time is pretty swell, and while I do have fond memories of the old one, they should have a chance to shine on their own. Lorewise and otherwise. In any case, this is a pretty cool episode! ❤

Sam Sam Sam I have a feeling I know we’re the plot line with nova is gonna go I’m not fully through the video yet but when nova got body swapped marsh said “why do I feel hungry” cause nova craves a certain type of meat that’s forbidden and she tasted it

I love this series so much! I wonder what happened between Brent and Sam, it’s really interesting watching the previous episode between them, I really wanna see what Brent will do in further episodes. Overall great content!! ❤️❤️

I feel like this is a great episode that shows why the original Yandere High School was so popular and why people may not like Sam's new stuff, The original Yandere high was mostly grounded in reality (with a bit of fantasy aspects to add eerinees) and delt with harsh themes such as Suicide, Death, Poverty, Racism, and Drugs, Everything that happened in the series wasnt outrageously wild, Even if characters werent technically human they were still humanized, Pepe for instance wasn't defined by being a frog, He was a depressed boy who struggles aginst those who oppose his relationship with Patty. I feel like Coolmint being a Cat and having heavily notable cat based traits (Like sleepint in cat trees) takes away from the sense of reality established in the og series, and the idea of spells also exsisting heavily defies the semi-grounded reality we so dearly loved. The original series wasn't completely realistic however what it did have for fantasy was limited to the development of the story like the ghost's of Gareth and Salex.

In a way I agree with what you are saying. In the og everything that was happening to them felt like it could happen to anybody and the story they were telling was taking the right amount of time to get started and gets you hooked into everything that is going on around them. I personally feel like the reboot is blasting through storyline to storyline at a right the feels too fast, but I do love them adding more magical elements to the world they live in because it means the storylines they can now tell have the possibilities to make them more interesting. If I could change one thing through it would be how fast it is, but as things are currently it is perfectly fine in opinion.

Honestly watch what you want to watch and do not feel like you have to watch it, but personally I would recommend checking out the other videos because I personally find them to be a great time and very funny.

For your question about the canon the answer is yes everything thing that happens is canon, but I personally do not agree that the new episodes so be called a reboot series because it changes some stuff from the original.
