Body Language Analyst REACTS to Myka & James Stauffer's INFURIATING Apology Video | Faces Episode 13

Observe Merch Shop: teespring.com/stores/observe-4
Myka and James Stauffer did a terrible thing to an innocent child, and seemingly all for publicity. The internet wasn't impressed with that, so they released a formal apology that made things even worse. I decided to approach the apology with body language to see what their nonverbal communication was saying, and it was infuriating.

Y'know if they just were honest about it, and owned up to it instead of talking nonsense, maybe I could sympathize and respect them a bit. But they didn't do that.

I know it’s not the whole video so maybe we’re missing the parts that make it make sense but, these portions of their video give you the feeling that the child(! I don’t know how to make words bold) was thought of as a prop by them. Am I way off base here? A prop that affected their “non-video” lives too much & ended up not being worth it. Maybe I’m wrong but if I’m not, the type of person that thinks about fellow human beings like that is a horrendous person. @@sarahimran946 If the concern is really about teeth, a pacifier can cause the same issue. Generally, with neurotypical children, they give up thumb sucking naturally as they develop and find new ways to self regulate. However, in their case, I would have let Huxley continue to suck his thumb and would have explored other ways that could help him to do so. This can be done by developing a sensory profile, learning about self regulation for individuals with Autism and working with professionals. Which Myka chose not to and instead went with the cheapest there was (re: speech therapy. I know, has NOTHING to do with thumb sucking but if she cheapest out there, the chances grow that she cheaped out on other therapies too ). My son also has Autism, is largely non-verbal and sucked his thumb. As he got older, we learned other ways to support him.

The WHOLE adoption process was documented. They specifically requested a special needs child. They knew what they were getting themselves into. They documented this poor child's entire life once he was in their custody. These people are terrible people. I work in a hospital adjacent facility (similar to Ronald McDonald House), and there are people with FAR less privilege and money that do so so much more for their children with special needs or terminal illnesses. I have interacted with families who know fully that their child will not live more than a year, and they give that child the best year ever. You can't just give up on a child, especially when you have taken steps to document and monetize their lives!! It's absolutely disgusting behavior. Thank you for not standing for this behavior, and for blatantly calling it out!!! Love how salty you get in some of your videos lol it is definitely warranted!!!

As an adopted child, this breaks my heart. I could not imagine, having parents and then all of sudden being “given a forever home”. The beauty of adoption is that it is a chosen love. It’s always been hard for me to explain but I’ve had people say something along the lines of “do you feel like your parents love you less than parents love their biological children”. My response is always “no I think my parents love me more because they chose me”. It’s a different kind of love to CHOOSE love. Of course there are situations where parents will adopt children and don’t have this love in their heart, but I’m talking about my experience only. My parents wanted a baby so much that they were on an adoption list for YEARS and prayed daily to be chosen. To think that there are people in the world where their love is conditional, especially at the expense of a child that can’t help the situation that they are in, is so HORRIBLE to me. And to think that there is a chance that this amazing child will one day see this video and be made to feel like it was his fault...I can’t even produce words to accompany that thought. Heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking for that sweet baby.

For those who may not be aware: Google her Facebook comment to a China adoption group asking what "problems" are easy to manage but don't appear easy to manage to other people". They initially thought H had a terminal brain tumour. When they learned he in fact just had autism and would live a long, healthy life, they noped out of that adoption *hard*. They were not in it for the long haul. They were in it for the views & sympathy when he died of the "brain tumour". 😤

As a parent to two autistic boys on different ends of the spectrum I can not understand how they could just give up on him. Kids like Huxley work best with a schedule and lots of patience. Right, she still has up all the videos he was in on her channel. There was a clip on a video where she pretty much is upset with Huxley cause he’s crying in the closet tells him “to stop throwing tantrums” rather than getting in the closet with him to hug him and console him. I believe they are 100% the reason why Huxley never adapted. Plus recording all his outbursts and posting them online is definitely not protecting his privacy.

I mean, they taped the poor babys hands to stop him from comfortin himself, while letting their older biological children suck their thumbs. They took a child with special needs, and platantly disregarded his needs. They separated the children, gave their biological children familytime, vacations and affection, Huxley didn't see any of that love they claimed to have for him. I can't even imagine what new trauma that sweet lil boy got for being abandoned and separated from the other children he grew up to call his siblings. These people are not just "mistaken parents", they are simply getting away with abusing autistic child on the internet for monitary gain - they are criminals, and should see punishment for their actions.
