One of the greatest of our generation, bro helped millions with his books, saved lives with his channels, and was a refreshing mind to the health industry and to the god damn world. Hopefully people continue his research and carry on the legacy. Rest in Peace

It took seconds for his brain to make the decision to walk that path and the science currently shows his brain, just like all our brains, made that decision BEFORE his conscious mind was presented with the choice. Very sad news indeed. I recall that he had suffered transient global amnesia some years ago, and I wonder if he suffered another episode whilst out on his walk, potentially heat induced. I don’t think it’s fair to blame the police, why take a walk in very high temperatures, without a phone and not tell anyone the route you are taking. Tragic, but an avoidable accident. Can only imagine what the family is feeling right now.

Someone could have stopped him on tracks to go solo hiking in such heat especially knowing he felt Unwell and knowing he could Not Call if he dropped or sth bad happened , i know I wud have or if that failed I d insisted I come along or sb goes along... he had company on that beach ... and no one intelligent thought of that...???Really...???
They did not find him in a cave. He was next to a fence, on his back with hand on chest and other holding backpack. Either he fell or fainted in amongst rocks. The cameraman saw a reflection from the watch. There is a photo on Greek media. Until autopsy, they believe either he fell and hit his head, or heartattack, or collapsed from heatstroke.

Aside from deep respect for the family, I happen to agree, per . We are all equally as vulnerable to make innocuous mistakes that lead to our doom. So there's no blame from me. He had an umbrella, great - but even the locals were saying it's too hot to let the search dogs work! Ppl can't conceive of the physical impact of such heat unless they've experienced it, the sunshine is only half the problem. The rate of fluid loss would be huge, it would be easy to become confused within minutes, and then distressed...
So so sad condolences to family
