Body Float (more than just backing off body post screws)
Whether you are adding much needed body float due to minor manufacturing defects or simply looking for that competitive edge, this is help on how to do it, by taking off minor amounts of the chassis edges (if allowed in your classes, check with your race director. I'm not responsible for your mods). Combine this with the proper backing off of your body post screws and you've really got something!

Great tutorial. One thing I also noticed, especially with the toy or home class cars (Carrera, Scalextric, Pioneer) that helps, is the flashing and/or paint pooling on the body posts themselves. It's become practice now to sand/file the top (bottom, actually) of those posts and opening the chassis holes a bit with a mini rat file. And clip the bushing holders from the body on the Scalextric/Pioneer cars. Beautiful livery btw!

Absolutely, great additional points. I certainly made sure the 2 Slot.it post holes on the chassis were clean as well. Another tuning video to follow...hint, this one is a keeper!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge 👌

Hey David, yup, software/upload glitch. Completely unintended. You won't find that in any other videos from Hobbit Racing. I just didn't feel the need to replace at this time, but I certainly want my videos 'easy on the eyes'. Thank you for the feedback.
I thought that when you had a motor pod, you put all you float in the pod. No? How do you balance the float of the pod with the float of the chassis?

Great Question. Like anything, trial and error. Test and Tune sessions. I, for one, never rely solely on motor pod float when I have a poded chassis. A balance between all things. My tuning video on this car will be out soon, and I'll address your question directly. Thanks for the feedback
