Guys, the reason the frame flexes so much is because a Crown Vic ( like a Chevy Caprice ) has a perimeter frame that relies on the body to provide strength. Connecting the front to rear is a rather thin c shape making for lots of flex. Boxing in the C will give lots of strength.
Need a triangulated cage to tie the front and rear together as the original body did. I'm afraid the hockey puck idea will fatigue the sheet metal and cause fractures in the panels.
I love the use of hockey pucks, haha
Dont put any significant weight in that bed..... now that its attached to the cab you may not get the doors open. Dont ask how i know.......
Thanks for the free Episode on Motor Trend. I think a brush would have helped you get that skin off in the nooks and crannies.
Next time you have to remove that bedliner coating, use your release agent (mineral spirits or whatever) and let it soak, and then use a pressure washer instead of hand scraping. It'll go a whole lot faster.
Is now chassis more durable at heavier loads? And more durable at cracks?

First and notification squad.
Lucky is starting to look like trailer park Christopher Lee
The reason why they only made the unibody 1 year was because without the flex you would lose the back window in a ditch or hump.

Maybe you should have just swapped the front subframe instead of the whole frame.
