As a Florence resident I am disgusted by the lies this deputy told the Chief on his phone call. I will be letting them know how me my family and friend's feel about this. I have shown it to many of friends in my area. Deeply saddened by the deputy and the double faced behavior of the Chief himself.

Hello One World, I live in Lawrenceburg Ky and have watched alot of his videos. As far as I know hes done 3 in Ky. Florence, Lexington and Bowling Green. I have sent him an email asking him to come back to Ky and do an aduit on my city. I`m sure he won`t come just to do one so I`m asking you to see if you might know someone in a city near you to send him an email asking for an audit. I`ve found one other person in Ky that watches Sean and asked them to do the same. Hopefully if we get enough people to request an audit, we can get Sean back to Ky. Yep, it’s so appalling! The more of these videos I watch it seems as if 90% of city/state employees, after a few years on the job, they begin to possess a kind of super inflated ego that gets so big that they CANT just admit that they’re wrong! Instead of just admitting they’ve made a mistake and apologize and shake hands - they’ll instead make up disgusting lies and go to great lengths to avoid being wrong, even so far as ruining someone’s life if they were to be arrested and charged and fined, ALL OVER A LIE!! It’s flat out abhorrent behavior and there should be no second chances if an officer is caught doing that, it should be grounds for immediate dismissal.

Absolutely a LIAR. Either he doesn't know his Department's policy in regards to a request for a supervisor or he willfully disobeyed it. Not a good look either way. Hope LIA filed a complaint about it. Nothing will be done about it but at least there will be a record of it. I watched one video in which a cop had over 250 complaints and after investigation only 8 had merit.

It’s crazy how the employees at the post office lie. First you can’t film, then it’s about filming transactions. The officer was annoyed Ann continue to push the narrative that it’s all to get a rise. Never the fact Sean is exercising his right. The officers an post employees over exaggerated the situation dramatically to each of their superiors. That’s crazy. The post inspector should give feedback to the employees for lying as well as the chief to the officer for his unprofessional conduct.

I love the addition of the body cam footage. It nicely rounds out the entire interaction. Hearing that male cop even throw the female cop under the bus was pretty disturbing. I hope she let him have it haha... Its unfortunate that there is an automatic assumption that you are just trying to get a reaction out of everyone. It's true that that is what a lot of auditors do is provoke but they really need to go into each call without any bias just like they would like us to not be biased about all cops because of the actions of a few. Anyway, I love the way you conduct yourself. I personally think its very important for auditors to remain calm, professional and not provoke. Keep up the good work Sean!

Listening to the group of postal employees and the police talk about things that Sean never did was making my blood boil. I've watched dozens of 1st Amendment audits and Sean is by far one of the most pleasant and courteous auditors on the "tube". The lies they were telling about Sean's behavior was so frustrating and the female cop assuming that his actions were simply to get a reaction is horrifying. It is so disappointing to see the police officers explain Constitutional Rights as an inconvenience or other negative connotations; given they swore an oath to protect Constitutional Rights for all citizens. When they say he's trying to get a reaction or start a fight, etc is either completely ignorant or corrupt. They probably don't understand that these Rights are NOT given by the government, our rights are God Given. The Constitution protects our rights from corrupt government actions. Period. And the cop was a really small mined person. Super disappointing. Made himself look like a idiot. And no sir, you absolutely were not respectful. Shaun did not demand that you do anything. He just reminded you that you are there to serve the public. He was not upset that you knew his name, that's your evil mind. Cop was just retaliating because his ego was bruised.

When they talk behind each other that way , you can't expect anything less towards the public.

Post Office staff yelled across the room that he was breaking federal law. Then lied to police saying their only issue was him possibly filming transactions. What BS!

Worst employee ever! I will call about this fool for sure. He needs to be fired for NOT following the rules on the post office wall. What a jerk!

I believe there's a federal law about blocking people from the post office during normal business hours. A couple employees and Phoenix got fired a few years ago for locking the door on a auditor. The federal law about having the post office available for the people is very strict

The female postal worker should have charges filed against her for false reporting. He wasn't even filming in her direction until SHE engaged with him and was on the complete other side of the room when she engaged with him...insane the lengths people will go to lie and bring fictitious charges on law abiding citizens

I know people don't like to hear it and they hate to say it if they do see it... BUT IF YOU HAVE A VAGINA YOU CAN DO ALMOST ANYTHING SHORT OF KILLING SOMEONE AND KEEP YOUR GOVERNMENT JOB. The cops are so stupid for not realizing that their camera footage is accessible through a request. Guaranteed they're never going to lie again when their camera is on.

That officer should never be trusted under oath. His narrative was so disconnected from reality. He was obviously butt hurt when you exercised your 4th amendment right. To be quite honest, I did get the vibe from the female officer that she was trying to escalate things and she would have if she responded alone.

You can't bait someone in violating your rights. You just are giving them a chance to hook themselves. Think about it, can someone "bait" you into breaking the law?

Besides everything else already pointed out, may I just point out the final bodycam showing him driving while talking on the phone? Inhibiting and restricting his ability to operate the vehicle as clearly evident in the footage. I'm not American, though I love this kind of content, so I don't know the law around that in Kentucky, but over here he would have been recording himself committing a fairly serious violation. I just found this channel recently, and it's quickly becoming one of my daily guilty pleasures, thanks for the hard work you do for your fellow citizens!

Your patience is that of a saint! This ignorance - and oftentimes _willful_ ignorance - is absolutely frustrating! So many times during this video I was answering these fools in my head MUCH less quietly than you did. lol The body cams were so revealing. I can't believe this US vs THEM mentality. Where the heck does that come from? And then the LIES they make up to justify their behavior when they're not in public - DISGUSTING! The postal workers lie to cover their own behinds and act like THEY were abiding by the laws but Sean was so threatening to customer security that he had to be told to leave. I believe they thought, regardless of the law, the officers would remove him if they were made to believe he was trying to gather customer’s financial details. Not!!! I choose not to pass judgement on the chief. Given the number and depth of lies told by both officers, there is no way of knowing if they were lying about him as well. I cannot fault him on how he handled himself in the car park. I thought his communication with Sean was excellent and, most importantly, he displayed full understanding of First Amendment laws. Police can and do lie to the public all the time. I understand the need for it during investigations and interrogations. In this situation the lies were self-serving for each individual officer. If the female officer is deemed to be so difficult in situations, what do they think will happen when she encounters the public while patrolling alone? Based on the size of the fleet car park it seems to be a fairly small department. Interesting that they choose to employ someone deemed unable to contain herself with challenging civilians. That is over 90% of policing. The young male officer struggled to enforce the law as he was too busy attempting to find a way to placate the feelings of the employees. It takes only a few words to tell public employees that they have no right to privacy and must serve Sean and/or allow him, and all like him, to film. Instead he took his time attempting to get Sean to compromise. When that failed he went into the office and painted Sean as a troublemaker who needed to be placated due to an unfortunate law. So many officers never hear what Sean is teaching as they are so sure that he is only out to get a rise out of people, one of “those”. They fail to understand that he goes in hoping he will not have to educate anyone, that where laws and rights are in place people will recognise, respect and enforce them. It has become clear that postal services and other government entities around the country desperately need to train their staff on laws that apply to serving the public in their jobs/workplace. This was clearly demonstrated by the male officer in his vehicle at the end. He had nothing but contempt for Sean. He learned nothing that day. Maybe LEOs should be made to renew their oath yearly, much like renewing wedding vows. That way they can be reminded of the meaning behind the words spoken and promises made. Kind of an integrity refresher. Be safe!

This is a perfect example on why having your own recorded footage is sooooo important. The postal workers lied about him recording transactions and the cop at the end lied about the auditors demeanor at the end. The cop made it seem like Sean was aggressive when he clearly was not.

It's amazing that exercising freedom is considered starting a fight
