NPC DnD is my favorite way to pologize

Bodger is really going to have to decide if he wants to keep that effect on the hammer or possibly carry a secondary weapon just in case he doesn't want to risk polymorphing a nearly dead enemy or maybe Baradun can take a reaction to bend luck and prevent it from activating. There are certainly ways for the ability to work well but Bodger really needs to learn to play the odds. Although given his gambling record I don't think that's super likely haha

Let me guess: they will keep pushing the "Tuile to pologize" pun again and again, until the end of the table session. Partly because they find it funny, and Rowan got an excuse to sing. But mostly because Rob stops finding it funny around the second time it is brought up.

OMG I'm still laughing at the whole Tuile to pologize bit. That whole episode was good but that part just did it in for me. I love these D&D episodes, they are just so great. Everyone at VLDL should be so very proud of what they have created over the years, some of the best content on YT by far.

It's not a bad idea though, it is just that it is a gamble on whether the result is good or bad. Taking a baddy out of a fight by turning them into a mouse that you can ignore or capture is amazing. But just as easy they can end up as a massive shark.

If you're just started, here's a note from Rob from previous episode; he fully realized what the effect, the monkeypaw and others, when he gave Bodger the polymorph to the hammer.

You could possibly make it useful. For example, if you were fighting a very large and strong monster but turned it into a mouse. Then you could capture the mouse and hold it for later in a different fight. Then kill the mouse and release the giant monster to cause chaos.

16:52 I love how Rob said he got a 1 on his dexterity check as he dropped tablet and knocked stuff over and no one seemed to catch it. Even Ben as he helps him pick it up. Lol. I’m constantly referring to my messups irl as 1s on checks.

Love how annoyed Rob gets yet he finds it funny and is in conflict. I like to think of it as the "Perfected Rob State". You could see them doing a road trip series of Rob just getting more and more annoyed by them all.

I love how Bodger has gone from not bothering to pick up copper to carrying all the cooper plz and thank you. And I loved Rob at 26:36 embodying Professor Paige perfectly.

3:00 - While a polymorphing hammer is great for laughs, having the struck target polymorph into literally anything is just going to mean anything that polymorphs is actually going to be a harder fight as Polymorph in 5e is essentially a buff spell seeing as how damage isn't carried over between forms. It would be a much better item if Bodger chose what they polymorphed into.

at one point it looked that greg gone have to make wisdom save throw to not be seduced by bodgers muscles

I havnt been able to play dnd for over an year cuz my partner needs heavy therapy and i need to be by their side. Destracting on the off days. Getting through the lonely evenings. This show kept me happy for a long time. Just keeping me connected to the D&D world, and therefor i thank you guys alot!

Finally!!! I got caught up. I watched this episode two weeks and stuff ago. This episode was my introduction to the D&D series (I’ve been watching VLDL for a while, but didn’t know about this D&D series). It was hilarious, so I marathoned the other 128 episodes. Now I can finally pologize in Tuile.

I thought pologization was an industrial process invented on Tuile, turns out it is a recreational process for its workers...

Not only are the whole team fantastic actors and comedians, but also lyrical geniuses ❤

Was the word Rob was looking for "the thing that doesn't turn off in sleepwalking people" perhaps the motor cortex? It stays on even when we sleep, but... well, to use a car metaphor, the engine's running, but the gear is in neutral / the clutch is pressed. People who sleepwalk accidentally "put a gear on" or let go of the metaphorical clutch. The motor cortex stays active because if something dangerous were to startle you, you need to be able to escape with instinct, so you don't need the frontal lobe's rationality. Kept us alive when we slept outside with predators around. So basically sleepwalking is just a bug in a safety mechanism. Great episode btw. "Water rope"? Cracked me up.

As someone who worked as a cashier for a few years, Bodger counting out and paying with 200 individual copper is the most accurate depiction of a customer. I have literally had multiple people do *exactly* that.

I watched the music video before this episode and was so confused until I learned what pologize meant. Beautiful.

I think this has become the second funniest episode I have seen to date. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath, but it did not have me in tears as I laughed... so a close second.

It's gonna be "Tuile to Pologize" when Rob quits from insanity.
