For your information, The 'man' in the video is The bobov Rebbe & he is dancing with his daughter on the day of her wedding. It is customary to hold a Gartel ( the white rope ) as to dance in a more modest way. The crowd is very happy and they singing to bring joy to the celebration. JUST BEAUTIFUL!

There are many different stages throughout the chassidic wedding. This stage you're watching is the very last one, the culmination, climax of the night, where she's praying her heart out along with the Rebbe/parents etc.for a blessed life for the couple and future children.Obviously a very serious mood. She would not dance in front of men. They are dancing in her honor. She had danced the night away all night among the women.

It’s so beautiful. I’ve been to so many and I am overwhelmed every time. Do you ever wonder why a bride wears a veil? A couple of reasons. One is that the man is marrying her for her inner beauty, not the physical. But there is something far bigger than that. Gd’s presence shines on her face and her face is too holy at that point to be exposed. So beautiful.

Side note. My toddler grandson was out of control and I was looking for something to try to calm him down, nothing was working, and I started playing this. He stopped his tantrum, came over to see and was mesmerized. Then he started dancing and humming along. I kept playing it over and over! I had put on other videos and he didn’t stop, somehow this calms him down. So now I use it whenever he goes into his terrible two tantrum. Works every time!

Americans live to serve Israel.

It is a custom among certain chassidic sects that the father, the Rabbi (here the Bobov Grand Rabbi) and then the groom dance with the bride as part of the wedding festivities. Since the Rabbi is highly regarded, the bride shows awe, not fear, and she could be tired. A Jewish wedding is joyous, and it can also last several hours, so I hardly think she is sad.

I really enjoyed watching this! Beautiful! My Jewish dad, at 80 years old was convinced that Isaiah 53 was a prophecy fulfilled by Jesus. That he died for sinners, like a lamb put to slaughter on the alter, and that he is the Jewish Messiah and is coming a second time to rule and reign in Israel.

No. When you read Isaiah 53 in Hebrew, you'll see that it doesn't mention Jesus. Christian Missionaries deliberately mistranslate Isaiah 53 into other languages ​​to deceive people. Isaiah 53 never, ever talks about Jesus and the crucifixion.

I love weddings where you see the joy of the family and friends, their blessing to the couple that they give and where everything they do symbolises prayers for good and blessed mariage and calling up the blessing on new generations yet to come. In weddings like this we see the good old traditions. These days everything is around material and there is no true joy and happines to share wilt the newly wedded couple. I m glad that so many people are showing their love, afection, joy for them. I wish that all people show it to each other. Maybe the world would be better place then.
