I could hear the squirrel chattering... I think he got away. Boy that was impressive... on both sides.

The squirrel's speed doesn't surprise me but I sure was surprised at just how fast that bobcat could get up that tree!

I can't tell if he got that squirrel ? but at the end it sort of looks like the Cat has it in its mouth ? Can't tell for sure. Man that Cat is so very quick getting up that tree, and fast and agile as that squirrel. I was hoping for the Cat to get it, and he was so very close about 1/4 way up the tree. Very skilled hunter that Cat is, and a very lucky squirrel, it its still alive. Must say absolutely clear and beautiful photography, and gorgeous scenery. We need more videos like this :)

He never did get it .. That's why you hear the Squirrel chattering in the tree top.

The squirrel jumped trees and was barking to let the cat know where to come find him to continue the game. The squirrel was never really bothered by the chase. He could've jumped over to 10 different trees before the cat came down from the 1st one.

Amazes me for how agile the squirrels are to build up so much momentum going down a tree and then stop on a dime

I did not see the squirrel in it's mouth so he appeared to get away. A lot of work for a bobcat to chase a squirrel like that, probably burned up more calories than it would have gained. Squirrel was smart to go up and down the way it did, if it went out on a limb the bobcat might shake it off. I don't know how the bobcat could have gotten a hold of it that way, it couldn't reach far for fear of losing it's grip, I noticed it tried to lunge with it's jaws a couple of times but no way was it close enough. Bobcats are fast but in a tree, a squirrel is way faster.

Squirrel easily could flee when it was very down the tree-stump ... 🦝😐
