Looks like one heck of a setup! Nothing like prepping the land for yourself to work again. Making profits!

You need a backup cam! I bought one off of Amazon that is wireless; the monitor uses the cig lighter. It’s a game changer for mulching in the T770. I can backdrag all day.

Are you always running the mulch head in super flow? And what do the hydraulic fluid temps level off at when working? Thanks I’m real close to pulling the trigger on a T86 myself.

Nice machine, have you had any issues what so ever with hydraulic or engine temps getting high? What kind of climate are you using that machine In when your mulching?

None at all. We operate in high humidity conditions temperatures in the 90s. The cooler on the machine is massive and reverses the fan very often to blow dust off

I’ve been working with my bobcat dealer they want a whole pile of money for the T86, even the lease rates are ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼

Be careful raising the head up it will sling debris back into your shield and break ur front glass.

That's a fact. I have the 770 with the forestry package and without that cab and glass in it, i honestly would be dead. Several times....you never see it, only hear it smack off the glass. well worth the money. And that windshield wiper isn't gonna last long. Looking to upgrade to the T86. Hydraulics, cooling system, and improved vision are plusses.

I have the 3/4” lexan on my t770 mulcher. If you rock the mulching head all the way back it won’t shower the cab with debris but I can’t imagine mulching without the forestry package. Not worth dying over.

@@doon44 you bet. I see too many guys getting into it charging brush hog rates. This is a whole new animal. A set of knives last 100ish hours in rocky soil, at roughly 1000 a set. Carbides will last quite a bit longer but it’s harder on the machine and doesn’t leave half of nice as a finish. All about what your customers want.

@@ChaseLandMgmt Thank you for your time. I’m on my way to retirement in the next few years and would like to get into something totally different. I love doing this kind of work and thought it would be fun to do while making a few extra dollars. The price of the machines and parts as you have explained is a big investment. Would you mind if I reached out later if I have more questions. I know time is precious and do not want to take up to much of it.
